Amy and Matt. I sat down with a cup of coffee to sip on while enjoying your video. It was a great way to spend 20 minutes. Thanks again for bringing us along. AL
Been watching you guys for a long time. Through the magic of this technology, I’ve enjoyed your maturity over four oceans, and multiple continents, the sailing, wonderful learning opportunities like scuba diving and boat maintenance. Your modest attitude and beautiful character has been extraordinarily enduring. Have come to be quite fond of you; I hope you don’t mind. I know we don’t know each other, will probably nerves meet. Just know that if we ever do meet…you may see tears of affection. I hope you continue to live your beautiful life, together forever.
Absolutely stunning photography, narration, editing and scenery! Each episode tells a story! That water is just amazing! Just another great episode by one of the best channels out there!
Have been watching many different Sailing You Tube channels, But yours by far is the BEST. No comparison. Your videography and narration are excellent, informative and entertaining. Glad you are going to continue sailing after you get make to Portsmouth.
Hear that people! Matt says they were the stand on vessel, NOT the right of way vessel. I'm not sure I have heard the right words from any other sailing channel ever. Just quality.
How amazing is to reach Antigua, climb up this massive hill to an old and famous fort to hear the steel pan metalizing in perfect synchrony the "chorinho/brasileirinho"!? I love and miss Antigua (from Brazil). 😊
Your shows keep getting better and better. There is a lot to praise, but what stands out to me is that your voices are more animated and convey the emotions you are feeling. Thanks for each video.
A little delamination in the bulkhead? If that's all that's wrong with that wonderful little ship after 6 years at sea, nobody can complain, she has served you so well! A lovely film, well done, as always.
I can't imagine a more colossal waste of time than rowing across the ocean. I love that Any wears dresses and is a top notch sailor. Your channel is the best.
Thank god for that. I was beginning to think you had just set sail from Southampton only to find that you had discovered a big hole at the bottom of the boat.!!
I have been watching you Amy and Matt for a very long time. Each episode is like a complete meal. Unlike most sailing videos on TH-cam these are like beautifully made short documentaries. You guys are excellent film makers ❤
Every second of this video was brilliant. The Frigate Bird colony was quite a spectacle. Matt, Amy and Florence, you are champion adventurers and outstanding videographers. I've been following you for several years and it's been a real delight. Thank you!
You guys are really awesome...constantly great without getting commercially compromised. I pull my hat to you...there are two dominant global sailing folk, one I feel, they have, in recent, have lost their souls due to greed and wanting a much profitability, status and financial security... hmmmm. Keep up with your authenticity...I pull my hat to you.
I was on a boat down there in the late 70s . There was just an abandoned stone building . We would fill a cooler with rum punch . And party up there. It was just us . A few crews ,no tourists. Things chang .
BARBUDA LOVELY! The shots of the infamous Frigit Birds was a sight to see. O' not a good feeling noting the hull separation. Be safe and enjoy island life.
Loved the sequence in Barbuda with the crashing waves and soaring music, transitioning into the soft music with the birds taking flight. Beautiful film making!
Wow your photography is fantastic. I've followed your vlogs for about 3 years and the locations you choose to go to are so unequic in comparison with a lot of other sailing vlogers really enjoy your vlogs 😎😎😎
Your reports are amazing. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. Watching your adventures always is a highlight. Fair winds and following seas. Ships Ahoi!
I normally watch all of the video before commenting, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to be first on one of my favorite channels! I’ll come back and edit this once I’m done watching Edit: It’s always great to see all the wonderful places you’ve traveled to and the cool parts of out world that don’t get reported on enough. This adventure has been wonderful so far, and I can’t wait to see more of the Caribbean, and more of your videos. Fair winds, -J
I was stationed at the U.S. Naval Facility, Antigua in the early 70's... boy did this bring back some memories! This was one of my favorite duty stations! Beautiful videography. Thank you for the trip down memory lane!
Impressive video. You will love the Bahamas, presently we are sailing there, preparing for an Atlantic crossing. Please give yourself enough time to explore the best cruising ground in the North Atlantic.
I first caught you guys when you were in South Africa so I haven't been following you that long. But what I'm curious about is did you guess ever have a break down about what kind of boat your sailing and all the repairs that you have had to do on your adventure? I'm curious because one day I would really love to sail around the world like you have done. That's always been a dream of mine.
This is beautiful stuff. We use to see frigit birds in Maui but had no idea they went 1000s of miles into the ocean. Imagine like you guys a creature trying to find far away lands. Flying in the air endlessly. It's hard to imagine such a life but they survive. Thanks for the video.
It's been a lovely blue sky Saturday morning here in Australia with a coffee, Amy and Matt's adventures, and the azure waters of the Caribbean. Simple pleasures 💙☕️⛵️🏝
Love your vids and they keep getting better. Great combo of real life with excellent videography. Brilliant, cheers guys, as always looking forward to the next notification and episode. Maybe for your next phase you could think about one vid per week, instead of one per fortnight - you deserve way more subscribers in my opinion and that may make a big difference...Either way, please keep 'em coming! Fair winds.
Good job you've found any cracks before you head off back towards Britain.! Amazing how the rainfall differs so much between islands which are not that far apart. I'm sure you have an explanation for this.
Your blog bought back many great memories of sailing in that area in 2012. Shirley Heights was tame then too. We loved Barbuda but I think we had better luck with a calm Anchorage then. Love the pink sand at Barbuda.
Spent time in English harbour in the early 90s. The heights were a great Sunday night. Crew mainly, very few tourists. Christmas Eve was a night. Always looked forward to getting back there.
You are the best to follow, already for years. Quality video's, good explanation from the spots you visit, nice energy between you. Can't you turn towards Panama again and start a second tour around...😊? Good luck with the final part of your amazing sailing adventure. Harry, Portugal.
Another Great episode. Have you ever considered a flopper stopper to minimize the boat rolling in some of the not so protected bays? Would like to know your thoughts regarding this.
That's a shame that you have such a huge problem with your bulk head ,but it's better to find it now then have a problem half way across the Atlantic crossing. It may mess up your plans but it's better to rebuild the bulk head then chance it may give out when your off shore. I'm sure with your knowledge and ability you can repair this and hopefully keep on your schedule. On the bright side your in a beautiful place and it's one thing less you will have to deal with in rainy England.
Another absolutely beautiful episode … although I presume nothing major came about after the sun set while on Shirley Heights? The quality of the filming and product is phenomenal. It’s clear how much time, effort and care goes into every episode. In case you ever wonder; Yes, it shows, and yes, it is fabulous. My only issue now is having now become an Insta360 X3 owner myself, ENTIRELY due to your tip, I find myself studying; ‘How did Matt get that angle?’, ‘Where’s the stick?’ 😂 … and taking notes to ‘borrow’ 😊 For the squall, I presume you have the main pinned to prevent a likely gybe as the wind crashes from every which-way for 5 mins? Do you motor just to maintain control, as keeping any consistent pressure on the sail is near damn impossible as it passes over you, and forget hiding from the horizontal rain 😮 But STUNNING production. Love it
You had mentioned you skipped st Vincent based on a website or Facebook group regarding safety in the Carribean. Can you share those? We are going next year.
Quite simply, another exquisite episode. I hope you two realise how much joy and happiness you give to myself and others. Stay safe x
I second that Graeme. The most enjoyable sailing series on TH-cam.
Their videos have a soothing calming effect.
@@rickkwitkoski1976 thaks Rick. I do subscribe to their channel and also enjoy their videos very much. They are having a rough ride at the moment.
Well said Graeme. These guys are smart, experienced and put out close to the best sailing videos I've ever seen.
Amy and Matt.

Your video footage of sailing is stunning, some of the best I've ever seen, it's very emotional to watch !
I can't imagine a more colossal waste of time than rowing across the ocean. I love that Any wears dresses and is a top notch sailor. Your channel is the best.
It's a challenge. It gets you out of the house at least.
Great job! I have been sailing the past 2 months in the Bahamas and always enjoy catching up with your adventure upon my return! Fair winds!🙏💪😎
Nice to give the Atlantic rowers attention. May this is your next challenge.

Once again thank you for your time in doing this vlog x
Loved the sequence in Barbuda with the crashing waves and soaring music, transitioning into the soft music with the birds taking flight. Beautiful film making!
Beautiful cruising, saw the frigate colony in Mexico/yuchatan penninsula, spectacular giant Robin seagulls with the fantastic swallow tails!
The best just keep getting better.
I Really, Really enjoyed seeing the Frigate Bird Colony and their white chicks! Thank You So Very Much for sharing them with us.
Wonderful filming as always. Thanks for taking the time to produce such great quality updates.

It’s hard to believe you would want to go up north. I would want to stay right there.
We might agree with you once we sample the north!

Barbuda is a stunning destination with some of the best patch reefs for diving/snorkelling in the Caribbean just where you were anchored.

Harry, Portugal.
Panama again was tempting, but we have decided to try higher latitude sailing for a while, we may change our minds once the cold bites!
Nice warm weather sailing. I also follow Kate and Curtis on Sweet Ruca. Sailing around Cape Horn.
as I've come to expect, your video skills are excellent, thata sunset in Spanish point was amazing. thanks!
Really great mix of sailing info and travel info. Really enjoy your videos!
It's sad to see decay in Florence's bulkheads. The water color is iridescent. Thanks for sharing. Happy Easter 🐣🐰
Wow Sailor 👍
Another Great episode. Have you ever considered a flopper stopper to minimize the boat rolling in some of the not so protected bays? Would like to know your thoughts regarding this.
Yes we use a flopper stopper, but it is stored at the back of the cockpit locker, so the rolling needs to be bad enough to make us dig it out!
That's a shame that you have such a huge problem with your bulk head ,but it's better to find it now then have a problem half way across the Atlantic crossing. Do you motor just to maintain control, as keeping any consistent pressure on the sail is near damn impossible as it passes over you, and forget hiding from the horizontal rain 😮
But STUNNING production. Love it
No need to motor in the squall, we were on the edge of the cloud so the wind direction didn't shift dramatically, just wet and windy. Cheers
Bit shocked at how busy those anchorages are. On the west (Pacific) coast of Panama, it's rare to see one other boat a week.
awesome episode! well done.
Fenomenal experiencia chicos, muy bonitos vuestros videos.
El barco, que constructor y modelo es?
Saludos desde España
You had mentioned you skipped st Vincent based on a website or Facebook group regarding safety in the Carribean. Can you share those? We are going next year.
Dare I say it… 😂
Show us your crack 😂
Great episode 👍
I can't believe it's been six and a half years.
have you got one or two reefs in the main? I'm a cat sailor and we'd have two in.
I thought you were already back in England, and thinking about an other boat and deciding whether or not to resume sailing ? Enjoy you nevertheless
We still have the North Atlantic ocean to cross between us and England
Do you have plans of hitting the northeast coast on your way back to the UK.
Angus
North East coast of the US? Sadly not as visas are difficult to enter with your own boat and insurance is expensive for US waters.
