Tall Grass Story

Is litter picking possible when the grass is tall? I've heard all sorts of opinions: it's either too hard, too time-consuming, not feasible for whatever reason, not financially viable, a logistically complex procedure, flat-out impossible, not worth it etc. So let's check. I went out litter-picking in the tall grass, trying to salvage whatever I could from the impending mowing, which seems to always be done without litter-picking first, leading to an absolute disaster.
