Not having Heather from Total Drama Island on this list is criminal. She pretty much backstabbed everyone on her team and then as punishment she had her head shaved and lost the game
I wouldn't necessarily call Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz a backstabber. She just made a lot of bad choices without thinking hard enough & thought that it would be easy to erase all of the bad things she has done by living a new life as Rose Quartz, but it all came back to haunt her & Steven. Plus, she did saved Earth, even though it caused most of the gems to be corrupted.
I agree. I don't mean to offend anyone here or to make anyone uncomfortable and I'm really sorry about that, but I actually like Pink Diamond aka Rose Quartz.

Not sure about the Rose Quartz entry. Yes, she gave up her physical form, but it was thousands of years later and was completely her choice to do it. The real price of her betrayal was the lost of almost all of her friends as after faking her own shattering was the Diamond counterattack where they tried to wipe out the whole planet but ended up corrupting every active gem she couldn't shield.
Not too mention abandoning Spinel on the Garden planet, causing the Diamonds to retaliate by obliterate and mutate the gems on Earth and have Steven and her surviving friends suffer the fallout for the entire series

Ben Ravencroft deserved to be on this list! I remember him well when I first watch scooby-doo and the witch’s ghost on tv. Burning inside that magic book was an end fit for a warlock like him.
I think it definitely helps by the fact that he is voiced by Tim Curry who gives Ravencroft a voice where he almost sounds unrecognisable but definitely does put a creepy Vibe to his voice funny enough she won't be the last Scooby-Doo character Curry would voice as he would later be brought back to provide the voice of the Goblin King
I agree with #4 Vlad may have had a rough early adulthood what with Jack causing him to be hospitalized for years, Vlad never having a chance to confess his feelings for Maddie. But he became a millionaire with fame and power,yet all he wants is to act petty and ruin Jack and Danny's lives,dude got what was coming to him.

Not even a single mention of Starscream? The guys one of the biggest back stabbers of all and it was so satisfying seeing Galvatron turn him to literal dust in the movie.
I don't think he counts because Megatron is aware of Starscream's willingness to betray him. A betrayal imo is when the hero/villain has no clue when or by whom they'll be betrayed from. All what Megatron had to do was flex and Starscream would always fall in line from fear.
Sideways and Thrust from Transformers Armada could also be mentioned here, betraying both the Autobots and Decepticons in order to help Unicron destroy them and Cybertron.

Honourable mention, Master Chen from Ninjago… manipulated the distrust between humans & serpentine, twice to spark 2 serpentine wars. And also manipulated certain members of the Elemental alliance against each other, and also tried to Manipulate Sensei Wu against his now purified brother, Garmadon by mentioning the truth about Wu’s letter to Misako being intercepted and signed by a corrupted Garmadon when they were younger, which led to Misako falling in love with Garmadon instead of Wu. . Chen’s ultimate karmic fate/ punishment… originally banished to an island after the 1st war but sentenced to the Cursed Realm for initiating the 2nd war.
Nice to see Tiff and Mitch from Camp Cretaceous get a mention (especially Tiff). P.S Tiff was actually killed out of revenge by Chaos and Limbo because she killed their sister Grim.
Vlad Masters was such a great villain and despicable in so many ways that made him one of my favorite bad guys growing up.😊 (Technically, this guy right here is a backstabber too, but only to his villainous boss😉)
I've seen "Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost", the "Justice League" episode, and the "Family Guy" episode. These backstabbers sure did get what they deserved, along with the others on this list. I liked the woman's bangs in "Rick and Morty" and I'm sorry Korra had to do this to her uncle! I didn't know "Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost" came out the same year I was born!
I was hoping Catra would be on here. She literally stabbed Entrapta - one of her own - in the back and left her for dead, plus threatening the same treatment to anyone who disobeys her. The entirety of S4 was her getting karma for what she did in the forms of nightmares, being called out by Scorpia, getting attacked, losing, and called out again by Double Trouble. She didn't just deserve it, she needed it for her redemption.
@@wesley5900 Because, Adora realized that she was siding with the oppressors, and wanted to become part of the solution, instead of continuing to be part of the problem, while Catra wanted to keep making power plays, no matter who got hurt.
You have a point, but the fact that she managed to redeem herself, if not undo her past actions, at least disqualifies her from the list, since these 10 never wanted or made an attempt to change their ways. Even Pink's "redemption" in the form of Steven was her giving up and leaving Steven and the others to clean up after her.
Not even an honorable mention to the original Starscream, the Decpeticon schemer of schemers always ready to backstab Megatron pushed his luck one too many times. After Megatron is gavely wounded Starscream tosses his leader, fellow seekers and the insecticons to the depths of space to rot. But Megatron is found by the planet devouring Unicron and refomatted into Galvatron, and in reclaiming his position gives the backstabber his over due reward, toal disintegration thanks to Galvatron's upgraded Fusion Cannon. And the tricky backstaber went on after death to backstab the Decepticon Scourge, Unicron and even the Predacons in Beast Wars.
How is Heather from Total Drama not on this list? The verbal bashing by Lindsay in the uncensored version followed by having her head shaved off also courtesy of Lindsay was the best part of the show
Whether it's in animation or live action the backstabbers always get what's coming to them. especially if it's a punishment that's worthy of the villain.
Too bad we didn't get Matthew Marcus of Exosquad. And he was the Second in command of the Exfleet. The dude literally commits mutiny on the Exofleet and sent TJ March and the rest of the Alpha Squad on a BS Mission just so he can commit mutiny. And sent the rest of the Exofleet on a Battle that almost with the Neo-sapiens that almost cost the end of the human race. Marcus literally dies yelling "Tell Winfield to watch, tell Winfield that Matthew Marcus knows how to die!" And dies leaving the Human race in a mess and forcing Winfield to ally with the human pirates. In season two the pirates become a better Second in command than Marcus will ever be.
Johann from "Dreamworks Dragons". All that time we thought he was an ally, but turned out he was a spy who wanted to rule over everyone. At least the Bewilderbeast froze him to an icicle.
Glad to see Rose Quartz up here. While I may have been a fan of the show during its run, one thing that always bugged me to no end was how fans swore up and down that Rose/Pink could do no wrong. As if the fact that she gave birth to Steven makes her some untouchable saint. SMH.
OMG YES THANK YOU! She done quite a few things wrong and it made me mad sometimes because the Crystal Gems overlooked some of that crap. Same thing with the fans. People think she is a Saint but no she wasn't 🙄
Those are the people who refused to even see the whole POINT of rose quartz...that she was selfish, and flawed, and did a lot wrong, but on the whole, she tried to do what was right, even if she got it wrong sometimes.

She's a spoiled kid who thinks everything can be solved with enough lies, because she's been raised in an environment that tells her that her honest input is not welcome.
My favorite was the death of Empress Ima from The Colossaeus triogy in Primal S2. She was a true despicable witch who caused a-lot damage just for power and fun. Kamau had the honor to give her what she deserved for tortute him and used him as a monster by threatening his beloved daughter. Althought, I would put Kash instead of Tiff and Mitch for being even more annoying and sorta despicable as a villain.
Tiff & Mitch's deaths in Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous Season 2 really got what they deserved. In fact, they're deaths are on my list in Jurassic Park deaths.

I don't think we ever got a proper explanation to the Bog Lady from "Arlo", her obsession with Arlo wasn't explained all that well. I mean they could've said she enjoyed his singing and musical talents too much to let ever him go or maybe establish some connection to Arlo's birth mother. I mean the never made herself known to Arlo till the end of the season. Just saying her backstory could've been better written.

To be honest, I didn’t expect Rose quartz to be on this list. Though thinking back I can see why. You should have stop at the part where she faked her death and the diamonds either shattered her friends/army, or corrupted them.
Rico from Home On The Range deserves a mention. He revealed he was working for Slim, but it was too late. Buck fought back and gave him the justice he deserved.
I am kinda disappointed that Bellos didn’t get a proper entry, but I can see why. He survived the Collector’s “attack” and is still trying to wipe out all life on the Boiling Isles. Then again, after the Day of Unity, the people of the Isles probably know his true nature and will never accept him as emperor again; he lost his influence over the Boiling Isles.
On my opinion in #4. Vlad honestly did had sad origin. Jack blasted him with Ecto-Energy on the face when they were teenagers and spent decades in the hospital with no one visiting him once. So technically, Jack unknowingly backstabbed Vlad first.
Something that makes me very angry is the lack of consistency: they actually showed the woman who was going to replace Diane Simmons, but after her death her replacement was Joyce Kinney instead of that other girl.

Noble/megatron from beast machines. After the maximal temorarly destroyed the helmet that controlled the vehicons, megatron disguised himself as a neutral maximal named noble who aided the maximals in talking control of the fixed helmet
I Loved the "Phantom Planet" series finale because Vlad didn't just expose his ghost half to the world & Jack Fenton, But Danny Revealed his ghost half, his parents were cool with it (even his father wanted to Team up with him to be his Sidekick) and Sam & Danny finally ended up together ❤️

I have no sympathy for the 40-year old Diane Simmons since she murdered more than 3 characters, but the parody version of James Woods got revived by science.
Honestly out of all the people on this list I actually feel bad for Diane. Sure she murdered people on that Family Guy episode but at the same time she was treated horribly by people
You guys forgot about Galvatron killing Stars cream in Transformers The Movie. He was the biggest of all backstabbers, especially after throwing a badly but still functioning Megatron.
That's not a backstab. That's seizing the opportunity when it's available. Starscream could never defeat a healthy Megatron and win command over the Deceptacons,but a weakened Megatron is another story. Even the rest of the Deceptacons are aware that if you're the weak-link then you're as good as trash in their eyes.
How the hell did you do a list about animated backstabbers and not even mention Starscream? He is literally the trope namer. Others you could have given honorable mentions and/or revisit in another list: Draconis (Exo Squad). Betrays Phaeton. Repeatedly. And gets killed or executed every single time (for some reason, Phaeton keeps cloning him). Carmilla (Castlevania). Betrayed Dracula and imprisoned one of two forge masters. Ultimately killed in a battle with the OTHER forge master. Demona (Gargoyles). Betrayed Castle Wyvern. Blamed humanity when it got her clan killed. Was cursed to BECOME human in the daytime. Cozy Glow (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic). Conspired with Tirek. Twice. Imprisoned with Tirek. Twice. The Beast (Over the Garden Wall). Tricked others into thinking the souls of loved ones were in the lantern. Until they figured out it contained HIS soul and snuffed it. Aaron Herbst (Batman Beyond). Releases Inque. And, um... It's infamous nightmare fuel what happens to him... Yeah. He was THAT GUY from THAT EPISODE.
I don’t know how many villains there are for almost winning. Villains in The Legend of Korra had those moments but at the end, was defeated or dead. Unalaq or UnaVaatu had it coming
good that Mitch and Tiff are on the list especially since Tiff is a coward abandoning her husband to be eaten I know Kash isn’t a backstabber since he was always an evil jerk but he got what he deserved what did Pink/Rose deserve? a son? that more of a good thing for all the things she did

Mr Burns should be an honourable mention as in the infamous episode " Who shot Mr Burns" he was not very nice to the entire town of Springfield from the school to even his long time loyal assistant Mr Smithers, he even crossed the line when he blocked out the sun.
Rose Quartz isn’t really a jerk but as Pink Diamond was pretty bad. She abandoned her friend Spinel for thousand of years, hurt her original Pearl now named Volleyball and lied to the diamonds
No surprise Rose Quartz makes this list. Many redeemed villains are often viewed by their heroic deeds, after seeing the light, that their misdeeds are often overlooked. ...Unless they are truly remorseful.
One of the best parts about Unalaq’s defeat is that his demise comes in the form of the very same spiritual waterbending technique he taught Korra to help pacify dark spirits. So yes, he unintentionally gave her the very technique she ultimately used to beat him. Way to shoot yourself in the ass there mate.
I think Queen Ursurna form Tales of Arcadia Trollhunters should of made the list. turns her back on her people to serve Gumar, killing the leader of the trolls and almost executing Arrrrrrrrg and then finally her people saying enough is enough and she sinks to her demise in the swamp

I was hoping Catra would be on here. She literally stabbed Entrapta - one of her own - in the back and left her for dead, plus threatening the same treatment to anyone who disobeys her. The entirety of S4 was her getting karma for what she did in the forms of nightmares, being called out by Scorpia, getting attacked, losing, and called out again by Double Trouble. She didn't just deserve it, she needed it for her redemption.

You have a point, but the fact that she managed to redeem herself, if not undo her past actions, at least disqualifies her from the list, since these 10 never wanted or made an attempt to change their ways. Even Pink's "redemption" in the form of Steven was her giving up and leaving Steven and the others to clean up after her.

Not even an honorable mention to the original Starscream, the Decpeticon schemer of schemers always ready to backstab Megatron pushed his luck one too many times. After Megatron is gavely wounded Starscream tosses his leader, fellow seekers and the insecticons to the depths of space to rot. But Megatron is found by the planet devouring Unicron and refomatted into Galvatron, and in reclaiming his position gives the backstabber his over due reward, toal disintegration thanks to Galvatron's upgraded Fusion Cannon. And the tricky backstaber went on after death to backstab the Decepticon Scourge, Unicron and even the Predacons in Beast Wars.
I think all of the satisfying moments are good especially when all cartoon backstabbers really got what they deserve.

The dude literally commits mutiny on the Exofleet and sent TJ March and the rest of the Alpha Squad on a BS Mission just so he can commit mutiny. And sent the rest of the Exofleet on a Battle that almost with the Neo-sapiens that almost cost the end of the human race. Marcus literally dies yelling "Tell Winfield to watch, tell Winfield that Matthew Marcus knows how to die!" And dies leaving the Human race in a mess and forcing Winfield to ally with the human pirates. In season two the pirates become a better Second in command than Marcus will ever be.
Johann from "Dreamworks Dragons". All that time we thought he was an ally, but turned out he was a spy who wanted to rule over everyone. At least the Bewilderbeast froze him to an icicle.
Glad to see Rose Quartz up here. While I may have been a fan of the show during its run, one thing that always bugged me to no end was how fans swore up and down that Rose/Pink could do no wrong. As if the fact that she gave birth to Steven makes her some untouchable saint. SMH.

Those are the people who refused to even see the whole POINT of rose quartz...that she was selfish, and flawed, and did a lot wrong, but on the whole, she tried to do what was right, even if she got it wrong sometimes.

My favorite was the death of Empress Ima from The Colossaeus triogy in Primal S2. She was a true despicable witch who caused a-lot damage just for power and fun. Kamau had the honor to give her what she deserved for tortute him and used him as a monster by threatening his beloved daughter.
Althought, I would put Kash instead of Tiff and Mitch for being even more annoying and sorta despicable as a villain.

I mean they could've said she enjoyed his singing and musical talents too much to let ever him go or maybe establish some connection to Arlo's birth mother. I mean the never made herself known to Arlo till the end of the season. Just saying her backstory could've been better written.

On my opinion in #4. Vlad honestly did had sad origin. Jack blasted him with Ecto-Energy on the face when they were teenagers and spent decades in the hospital with no one visiting him once. So technically, Jack unknowingly backstabbed Vlad first.
Something that makes me very angry is the lack of consistency: they actually showed the woman who was going to replace Diane Simmons, but after her death her replacement was Joyce Kinney instead of that other girl.

Starscream could never defeat a healthy Megatron and win command over the Deceptacons,but a weakened Megatron is another story. Even the rest of the Deceptacons are aware that if you're the weak-link then you're as good as trash in their eyes.
