Yeah it's funny I watched JW once when it first came out and I didn't really remember his character aside from the fact he dies. I watched it again in the week leading up to the Dominion release and realized I actually rather like his character

But everything else - taking an interest in the well -being and happiness of not just the guests but also the animals, his proactive approach to security, Wu's irresponsibility, and handling (or trying to handle) the Indominus escape - makes him the most likeable corporate type in the franchise by far, to the point of outshining some protagonist characters IMO

@@CDHfilms It´s pretty possible. After all, it contained a very valuable assets he salivated over, and he couldn´t really trust a greedy guy who betray his own employer for money, now could he? Or when Nedry failed to show up on their meeting, he looked into what happened, found out about the whole disaster and that the island was in disarray, and sent his men to search for the can.
Mills is arguably the worst character because not only he was planning to sell dinosaurs as weapons of war, but also he planned on using Maisie as a DNA test subject for creating more efficient, war dinosaurs.
Spoilers: If you did not watch dominion, do not press "read more". In my opinion dodgson was the worst human character in the series, he was literally causing global hunger and not caring about it
@@hantbill6462 Dodgson was clearly mad, his mind was broken. And even though he was going to destroy all ressources on earth (it was not his main goal, I mean, he just didn’t care and wanted money), but he did not directly do such horrible things as killing an old defenseless man or sequestering a child unlike Mills
SPOILER ALERT. The new No.1 is Lewis Dodgson in Jurassic World: Dominion, he's the one who set Nedry on that path, he was the one who actually wanted the embryos, and in Dominion he is literally shortening the Earth's food supply. Even better, his path is stopped just like Nedry's, and some dilophosaurus' come to do the job. The spice on the cake is Dodgson dropping the Barbasol can as he dies
I think In the case of Robert Burke's death, his panic was more of his brain just not thinking clearly. I mean it's scientifically proven that in cases of extreme fear people usually don't make rational decisions. In this case, panicking about a snake you barely saw slither in your jacket
Simon wasnt a bad guy, he cared more about the dinos happiness and well being then Claire did. Yes he had shades of pride and greed but in the end he tryed to do the right thing. He was the only one left on the island that could fly. Pride gave him the confidence to help.

What I love is that the Indoraptor visibly *SMILES* before ripping Kens arm off, it's almost as if he knows what he's about to do is right. Well Ken... Karma can be a b*tch can't it?
Well, from what the director said about the Indoraptor, is that he's basically unhinged. He also explains that the skin around Ripper's, the dinosaur's name, is pealing, giving him a sickly appearance and just how menacing his personality is.
The irony that Dodson, the man who paid Nedry to steal from Ingen and caused the fall of Jurassic Park, gotten a similar death but in a much more gruesome fashion. Especially considering that the venom got into his mouth.
@@rebeccamyers3998 Roland did shoot the buck Rex but with tranquilizer darts. The double barrel rifle he tried to use was missing its bullets and thus was forced to use the tranq gun. Rewatch the Lost World and pay attention to the scene where Roland and Ludlow are talking after he shot the T-Rex. Hopefully you’ll see the mistake
Nedry really had it coming. Even as a little kid I found his death more hilarious than frightening. Dennis: "Look at me. I don't have any food." Dilophosaurus: Really? Because I see a lot of it on you.
I feel like Wheatley was the only one that actual deserved to get maimed and consumed by a dinosaur because of his cruelty, and Mills because he actually murdered someone, but otherwise I feel like this list is super harsh. Does a guy really deserve to be eaten by a T-Rex because he panicked about a snake?
Yeah. I found it odd that they didn't mention Wheatley tranqs Owen on the erupting volcano, leaves him to die, and threatens to shoot Zia if Blue dies. He's easily the most evil of the characters along with Mills.
Agree. Mills and Wheatley should have been at or near the top of this list (and Dodgson too for that matter if they redo this list to fit in with Dominion). Burke was working for the wrong team but wasn't necessarily a bad guy. Genaro was a coward and a slimeball but I still feel that should have been lower on this list than the actual villains.
The fact that Dodgson isn't on this list is a disgrace. The man created swarms of locusts to lay waste to the food supply just to push his own product, thereby risking the entire ecosystem to collapse and potentially causing a world wide food shortage. Out of everything all these callous villains and dumbasses did in the movies, his actions were by far the worst.
The list stated they were only doing Jurassic Park through Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trust me if Jurassic World: Dominion was allowed to have reps on this list Dodgson, his assistant Rainne, and Mills would've been on here for the villainous crap they pulled. Louis for what you mentioned, Rainne because she knew that Louis was doing villainous crap and willingly swept it under the rug simply cause she liked living the good life including getting a massive pay check, and Mills cause he wanted turn Blue, Beta, Rexy and the other dinosaurs into bio-organic weapons to sell on the black market and capture Maise just so he can murder her and use the DNA from her remains to create dinosaurs with human-level intellect to you guessed it sell as bio-organic weapons on the black market.
@@derrickhaggard I must have missed that part, of excluding JW:D. Then it makes sense. Edit: Just watched the intro again, but they're not saying they excluded JW:D anywhere.
I didn’t think Dr Burke deserved to die. His character didn’t seem to have malus, he was hired to do a job and sadly it was panic that got him killed. In his case - blame that snake 🐍 I’m honesty surprised Wheatley or Mills didn’t make number 1! Hoskins is not far behind those 2.
SPOILERS: I personally think it’s unfair to have Billy Brennan and Simon Masrani as (dis)honourable mentions. While Billy stealing Velociraptor eggs was a tremendously stupid move, he wasn’t greedy like the human villains in this franchise, as he merely wanted to secure funding for Alan Grant’s expeditions. Simon was trying to save Jurassic World and all of the people in it from the monster that he indirectly helped create, so having him on this list feels disrespectful. You should redo this list once Jurassic World Dominion ends up on DVD or Blu-Ray, as there are some real scumbags that meet a fitting end. Chief among these is Lewis Dodgson, who not only was responsible for everything going wrong in the original film, (and in the other films by proxy), but was perfectly willing to risk all life on Earth going extinct via what was essentially a plot for world domination.
@@camillerains3728 Not even the Indominus Rex deserves to be on the list. She was a victim, basically something that never was supposed to exist, was kept in an enclosure way too small without any stimulation, was never socialized and was treated as just a product. @@knightofarkronia8652 Indoraptor has some degree of tragedy, true, but he has far more agency than the Indominus. Honestly, I'm really glad Billy didnt die and part of me didnt exactly feel like he deserved what he got with the pterodactyls. Was stealing the eggs very, VERY stupid? Owen said that the indominous rex didn't even know what she was. And she was probably still alive when the mosasaurs draged her into the water. Makes me wonder if she didn't know better than to not inhale water.😂
Indominus was definitely still alive when the Mosasaur dragged her into the water. Indominus, while being dragged into the lagoon knew it was going to die, hence her helpless struggling.

Dr. Burke wasnt a bad guy. Hell, he didn't approve of Stark hurting that compy, just because he didnt have the balls to stand up to Stark doesnt mean he is a jerk who deserved to be eaten. You deserve to be on this list for putting him on this list
You got a point, because we all know there's going to be at very least one or two more that will deserve to be on this list. I'm really looking forward to this coming weekend when I'll get to see JWD.
Mills tried to play Devil’s advocate in the film. Acting as if he was justified and untouchable in everything he did, from killing Lockwood to selling the dinosaurs. Definitely a douche. Thank you Rexy. Lol Also I love how Stark’s death was joked about as being Spielberg getting revenge on Peter Stormare (Stark’s actor) for killing those people in Fargo.
I’m not supporting Mills, but he is kinda doing what he was asked to do, but he went too far, killing Lockwood so he could start his work, which is to keep Lockwood’s legacy alive when he dies.
SPOILER ALERT In Dominion, the owner of the biosyn, Dodgeson, thank you replies, was eaten by 3 dilophosauruses while carrying the Barbasol container from the original movie. This happened while he was trying to leave the dinosaur compound. Moral of the story, if you want to live in a world filled with dinosaurs, use Sandalwood.
denis nedry: get killed by dilophosaur others : gets killed by raptors tooth hunter: gets killed by indoraptor every army in jw : gets killed by indominus rex every dinosaur : gets killed by t rex the Lucky guy: gets killed by mosasaur
There is one thing in this franchise that I always enjoy: the villains getting what’s coming the them, from stealing Dino DNA to selling dinos for a profit, I always love seeing the villains fail.
I’m surprised Dr. Burke was on the list while the a-hole Stark was just an ‘honorable’ mention. Just saying, one took the job and was just excited to see dinosaurs and strut his ‘know-how’ while the only accepted the job and hurt them, especially the smaller ones, for fun. Plus, his death was way more satisfying.
No surprise having Dennis turn out to be number one, It is funny, however! Many years ago I was watching the first movie with one of my best friends, and he told me that he legitimately felt bad for Dennis. I had to stop for a moment to say, "You do realize that basically EVERYTHING BAD that happens in the movie is his fault, right?"
Actually, you can, in fact, blame Hammond, for every single thing that Nedry did. Hammond brags about the fact that he "spared no expense" all the time. With one exception. He cheeped out when he hired Nedry. They even have an argument about how Nedry wanted more money, because of the difficulties in doing what was required.
Actually, Nedry was paid really well he was just greedy, bad at financing, and arrogant. That’s why Hammond says he doesn’t blame people for their mistakes, he just asks that they pay for them.
@@juliaraymer2533 Exactly. Nedry was the low bidder. And that was his mistake. If Hammond had actually spared no expense, he would have gladly given him more money. Telling someone who is in charge of pretty much everything in your new park, with extremely dangerous creatures, that they have to pay for their own mistakes, is not a very good idea.
I believe that line from Hammond to Nedry about expecting people to pay for their mistakes may be a reference to the Novels when Hammond blamed Nedry for a mistake he didn't make (I believe it was Hammond's mistake) and made Nedry pay for all of it, forcing Nedry into financial difficulties on the first place. Hammond, in the Novels, was not a good man.
I'm going on Saturday or Sunday. I wait for most movies on Blu-ray or streaming online, but like the first Jurassic Park, this one has to be seen in a theater. TBH, I almost hope it's not in 3D cause if it's as good as I expect, someone else around me might soil themselves. LOL
Yeah definitely and hey that really mean greedy Mills guy Rexy 🦖 She sneaks up on him and Bites him up Shaking him around like a fun Dogy chew toy before he gets Eaten up it's actually kinda funny looking wouldn't you agree with me?
Burke was created as a means to insult Robert Bakker. His main rival, Jack Horner, gave Spielberg the idea for the character and that he should be eaten by a Rex.
Whole franchise is built upon bad guys getting their justice! But sometimes there is a grey area between good and bad and that is what makes this interesting
*Spoiler* Henry Wu in my opinion came so very close to making it on this list. The only reason that saved him to me was him realizing his mistakes and getting over his god complex in Dominion, otherwise he should have joined his novel counterpart’s terrible and deserving fate.
My problem with the indoraptor's death is the horns themselves. They're fossils, I find it hard that they're sturdy enough for something that heavy after eons of turning into rock.
Depends. The skull might not have been a real fossil. In fact many museums and private collectors don’t actually have real fossils on display due to fragility and sheer expense. They often have very convincing fakes or models. Plus depending on how the indoraptor landed could have effected how the pressure of the fall was dispersed amount the skull and horns. Example, there have been proven accounts of people being slammed legs first directly into the ground by tornadoes and not having anything broken because of how they were driven in and how our bones work.
i dont think fossils are ever put on display. They are too valuable. They are always plastered and then the casts are put instead. what if somethign like this happened and then the bones were destroyed
@@mahdiali872 completely correct. Most displays are made completely out of casts of the real fossils. It's very rare to find fully intact fossils on display
How the Kirby’s didn’t get any mention is crazy. They lied about their status and jobs and ultimately got Cooper, Nash, Udesky killed, Billy injured as well as getting a reluctant Dr. Grant to the island.
What about Henry Wu he made the Indominus and Indoraptor. As well as another hybrid the Scorpious Rex(Indominus, Porqupine, Rattlesnake) who poisons a kid while terrorizing 5 more.
I don't care what they do, I'll never celebrate animals getting hurt/dying as a result of what humans put them into. The Indoraptor was a victim, same as the rest.
Mills' death was justified. He was honestly no different from Ludlow. They both had devious intentions on striking it rich regarding these dinosaurs. Mills decided to auction them off that are worth billions. Whereas Ludlow wanted to not make the same mistake as his uncle John Hammond. Even their greed doesn't come without fatal consequences. They both died at the jaws of a T-Rex!!
Masrani actually tried to help protect the people at the park and put the Indominus Rex down knowing the costs. He should be put on a list of heroes in the Jurassic park movies
Agreed. And when Claire and Owen confronted him over how many innocent people are going to die if the Indonomius Rex is left alive, not does he personally agree to use his skills as a pilot to fly the Euthanizer Team so they can put it down along with agreeing to putting it down, he literally confronts Wu about it directly stating how they created a man-eating monster. And when Wu tries to be a hypocrite by stating he was only following Simon's orders to create a new dino that was bigger, faster, stronger, smarter, and scarier and that Simon is the real villain Simon successfully counters his hypocritical argument by stating "That maybe but if we survive this I'll make sure you go down with me cause the blood of those innocent people are also on your hands as well cause while I may have ordered you to create the Indonomius Rex you're the Victor Frankenstein who gave it life."
Nedry in the book had much more reason, and why he was still not a great person, he was being blackmailed by InGen and poorly treated by his workers, so stealing the Dino DNA and getting money was his way out. :(
@@angiecakes04 Yeah definitely 💯 and also remember that really mean old greedy guy trying to steal the baby T-Rex and Parent Rex🦖 Suddenly comes down into the Huge ship Trapping him and he Desperately trying to run away begging Noo Please Noo Wait Wait!! I don't think the raptors deserve a mention. they were just doing what predators do and it's the scientists faults for breeding them in the first place
**Seeing Velociraptors on the countdown list** Thank you! :D One thing that annoys me about many stupid people, they think Nedry is the main antagonist of Jurassic Park because "Blah! Animals aren't evil, they're just acting on instinct, thus can't be an antagonist." It's like, umm, hey morons, the term "main antagonist" is a story's POV title, not "Who's the most evil/capable of evil motives" title. Any living thing, human or animal can be a main antagonist depending on how the story is told. With that being said, Nedry is the second antagonist, basically being just a plot device, and dies half way through the movie, but he's not the direct threat to heroes of the story. The direct threat of Jurassic Park and thus the main antagonist of the film is The Big One; the alpha Velociraptor :D She's the main villain of the movie, from killing Jophery the Gatekeeper (which kicks off the events of the movie; the park being under investigation), to killing Muldoon "Clever Girl . . .", to hunting down Lex and Tim, to trying to bust the door open while Alan and Ellie hold her back, to fighting Rexy before Rexy finally kills her, throwing her body into the skeleton :D
Dodgson should top the list. This was published the day Dominion came out so shoulda been okay to include. Also Rain Delacourt. Running a dinosaur fight club gets him beheaded by one of them. The Indoraptor was confirmed male but you kept saying “she”. Fact: Ludlow’s death was Dodgson’s in the novel and it’s gorier. The baby rips part of his face off. And Dietrer got John Hammond’s novel death.
I know these are only PG-13 rated, but Eddie Carr's death really freaked me out. It was in The Lost World, but he was literally ripped in half by two T-Rexes and he wasn't even a villain. He was trying to save others. It was just so sad.
That red haired lady in the elevator must have gotten what she deserved along with Eversoll. The raptor would have never noticed them there if she hadn’t screamed her head off.
Robert Burke: killed by t-rex Ken Wheatley: killed by indoraptor Vic Hoskins: killed by Delta, a velociraptor Velociraptor: 1 froze or starved to death in a freezer. 2 killed by t-rex. 1 died by impaling in the sequel Indominus rex: killed by mosasaurus Peter Ludlow: killed by t-rex offspring Eli Mills: killed by t-rex Dr Gennaro: killed by t-rex Dennis Nedry: killed by dilophosaurus

No but because he sided with the wrong team
I liked him idk why but he didn’t seem like an awful human just working for the wrong people
I personally think it’s unfair to have Billy Brennan and Simon Masrani as (dis)honourable mentions.

Agree but also it still could possibly do it but it wouldn’t be as smooth as it was

They probably didn’t have any clips to legally show. They’ll probably do an updated list when Dominion comes to Blu Ray
I like to think the Dilophosaurus that killed Nedry was one of the three that killed Dodgson.
@@russellhoyt588 It’s conditioned to maul anyone it sees holding a Barbasol can, it seems
So if the video was published on the day dominion came out WatchMojo probably made the list before it came out so that's why they aren't on the list
I just saw the newest film and seeing this list was another good highlight for my Sunday afternoon to evening hours
4:53 Raptors maybe Alpha Predators, But T-Rex is Mega Predator.
I know these are only PG-13 rated, but Eddie Carr's death really freaked me out. It was in The Lost World, but he was literally ripped in half by two T-Rexes and he wasn't even a villain. He was trying to save others. It was just so sad.
10:52 He Redeemed Himself, so I say he's Learned his lesson and properly get a second chance.
14: You make it sound like he would sing the Disney villain song Mine, Mine, Mine
That red haired lady in the elevator must have gotten what she deserved along with Eversoll. The raptor would have never noticed them there if she hadn’t screamed her head off.
It was a reflex. If you saw a giant dinosaur eating someone you’d probably scream too
Thay part annoyed me so much. They'd literally been standing there listening to someone being ripped to shreds so why was it suddenly a shock
