You can tell on a 50.00 chinatime,but 500.00+ reps,you need to look at the movement,and some of the super clones get those nearly perfect.

It’s still very difficult to tell a great replica from a real watch without having an authentic one next to it or removing the movement. So on wrist, it’s something 99% of people won’t know. Disclaimer: I own zero replicas

I have Gen and Clean Factory. They're 99% close that most people won't see it. Only watch experts with almost a decade of experience.
@@pomp4401 I have many Rolexes mostly gmt’s, datejusts and a submariners. I have a genuine batgirl and a clean factory batgirl. They even put the real movement in it. (Right calibre not a Rolex one). The weight was the exact same to the gram, it was engraved not just printed, even the date window was the right magnification. Couldn’t tell the difference till you open it up. The clean factories didn’t even have that rattle like most fakes do. I’m not going to buy anymore but they’re crazy accurate

In United States its hard to find local dealer and all watches that I ordered from China before are not 100% same as original + it takes 2 weeks to arrive even with fast shipping option. I was looking for local dealer with basicly watches same as original

On the clasp engraving if you look with a loop on the reps I have seen you can tell it was done with a laser on the genuine it’s totally different than the laser engraving.

All the things you described cannot be seen a mile away. You actually need it in hour hands to tell. Some replicas are so good, you don’t know if it’s real or fake if someone’s wearing it. Those 300-1000 dollar replicas are almost impossible to tell when it’s on someone’s wrist.

Cap. You cant tell until you open it and observe the movement. Dealers with much more experience are having to open them. The reps are getting to the point that they are making 99% of the watch for 5% of the price. It doesnt make it right, but modern fakes are VERY VERY good

That’s true for all mechanical watches though, quartz (battery) watches tick, mechanical does not.
