I know this video is kind of old in your channel, but I just found your channel recently. This is very helpful because Ive been having singing lessons and music theory lessons. It is great to see what piano skills are all about. Im getting MORE and MORE tempted to go back to the piano/keyboard the more I watch your channel. :)
I'll have to revisit this video in a couple years when I'll (hopefully) be ready for my grade 3 exam. Since my new responsibilities at work have been heavier and more challenging than anticipated I've had to (again) slow down in my music lessons. The 1.5 hours/day sessions were too mentally taxing and it was affecting my job performance. Until I'm up to speed at work I've reduced my lessons to about 20 minutes/day. I don't get fatigued and it maintains my joy of learning the piano.
I've oscillated many times over the years with how much I practice, and 20 minutes is great! For many people it's all or nothing, but it's the persistent effort, regardless of how much time, that really counts.
How the hell do you only have 11k? I glanced at the sub count, so a 1 and just assumed you were around 100k. You REALLY deserve more attention, the quality of these videos is ridiculous.
I'll be taking my RCM 3 exam in one week. The formula pattern, I guess I've been practicing it 4 octaves, instead of 2. That's what my teacher showed me. I hope I don't get penalized for doing 4 octaves. Also the chromatic scale is HS, not HT.

i have a grade 3 piano exam on Wednesday and im freaking out. I really want a vid on TH-cam with a real exam but yes i know u can't even bring a camera to a exam. :( WAAAAAAAAAA! (but this actually really helped)
