You are an absolute GENIUS! Not only are bought transfers VERY expensive, but after a while I see the same ones everywhere. Now I can make truly unique items. Thank you from Australia 🦘🇦🇺
I also love how you appeal to us folk that do not own Cricuts or the like. I get frustrated because many of my favorite craft and DIY videos consist of the use of Cricut. It's refreshing and helpful to see your originality and tutorials offered to us without some of the gadgets. Thank you always for your beautiful and creative videos, I love ya!
Finally! I get so jealous when I see people using IOD transfers! They’re so expensive. I could buy them but my brain says why pay all that money for something that only works once! THANK YOU! - Kristin
WELL! This may just be the most mind-blowing craft trick I've ever stumbled across! Saved it! I'm not risking any chance of forgetting this little beauty! Thank you! 😘
Love the rub on transfers tutorial!...you have such a wonderfully creative channel with such unique DIY's that I don't see anyone else doing!... keep up the awesome work, Deidre!!😊😊
I absolutely love all the different techniques you show us! And what I love even more is how high-end the crafts turn out to look! Thank you and keep up the great job! 💕
I love this so much! I thought I knew a lot of little tricks to make my crafting and artwork more affordable, but I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talents with us. I cannot wait to try out this technique! ❤
What an amazing tutorial, and I really appreciate the short and to the point filming technique. I’m definitely going to try this method to make my art journaling pages way less bulky.
I love that I can create transfers with my own digital art. I have tried a similar method with freezer paper but it’s tricky getting it to go through the printer. The tip with the mod podge looks good. Thank you for sharing❤
Yes this works, been doing it for a few years now.. but there still isn't anything like IOD transfers. The quality is impeccable and worth every penny.
I did this with the Fabric ModgePodge which worked very well on denim. I heat set it and let it cure several days before washing it and it came out of a gentle cycle wash then I hung it to dry. Thanks for the inspiration!
I am impressed with this! I love rub on transfers and have bought some from Amazon and Temu but can never really find the florals that I want. Thank you!! Now I can make my own.😊😊
I watched a video who did this with waxed paper, too, I believe. It was a long time ago. The best part of this is that these don’t have that halo effect that transfers leave.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I have have been trying for years to figure out how to make my own transfers with an ink jet printer. I'm so excited to try this!
Wowsers! This is amazing! I've been wanting to try those transfers, but they are too expensive! I'm definitely going to try this when I find a project to use it on! Thank you!!!
Hi Deidre! Wow this video was informative. I've bought many transfers and I am excited to try this method. I was wondering if you did reverse imaging on you prints and can any printable images be used? Thank you for your amazing tips, tricks and ideas.
This is awesome. I use a lot of rub off transfers, and I love making my own. The rub off transfer paper is very expensive. I often make a sheet of smaller size transfers to use in my resin projects. Going to give this a try. Thanks so much!
great turtorial! did i hear right- you used the same image twice - so it came off 2 times before it was used up- would that be the same if you used it the first time w/ modpodge? or does it take it all off the first time? without modpodge it only comes off as a black and white image? can it be used 2 or more times dry (w/out the MP)- haha, so many questions!
Whoo hoo! 🎉 Some of us in your community have been asking for this and you have given us an alternative. Not only that you have given us one that works with ink jet printers. Thats amazing since I’ve seen that so many comments say they are limited to only an ink jet printer. I cannot wait to play around with this method! Thank you so much for taking the time to experiment for us to find more affordable options with less expensive products to create beautiful home decor. I’m super excited about this one. I wonder if you can also get a more vibrant look with these diy transfers using Poly acrylic instead of Mod Podge? Have you experimented with that any?
This is truly amazing. It's going to dress up my boring wardrobe! I have one question. How do you care for fabric with these transfers on them? Anything special?
Thanks so much and yes, I want to use fabric A couple of questions - can the paper just be peeled off without printing on it first? Your images are gorgeous - would they be safe for use on fabrics in the kitchen? Thanks for any help you can provide.
This is an awesome tip!! I will definitely try it. My question is, if you are using fabric, is it washable once the Mod Podge is dry? Or it's more for decorative rather than wearable art?

Great idea Deirdre!
Glad you like it!
Thank you for this great idea! I'm wondering if the images would come out even better if I use a laser printer?
No it doesn’t work only ink jet
Great tutorial! Question…how could I print transfer larger than printer paper size? Go to staples? What type paper would I ask for?
This only works on label sheets unfortunately
Interesting. I love rub on transfers.
Glad you enjoyed

YAY Finally something I can do with an INKJET.

This is awesome. Now if I could learn how to work my computer I’d be all set. Oh, I bet you go through a lot of ink cartridges. ♥️😊♥️♥️🌟
Actually doesn’t take a lot of ink
This is truly amazing. It's going to dress up my boring wardrobe! I have one question. How do you care for fabric with these transfers on them? Anything special?
This technique is not washable. It is for crafting projects only.
Such a great idea! Thank you so much. Love your channel!
You are so welcome!
Just to clarify, do you apply the transfer sheet to the Mod Podge when it is still wet?
Yes exactly
Fabulous technique!!! Thanks for sharing this 😊 Hugs....Janie

Fantastic. Thank You so much.
You're very welcome!
Thank you so much!

What setting did you use for the paper on your printer?
I did not adjust any settings on my printer. It is just how it came from factory.
YOU ARE A GENIUS!!’❤❤Thank you!!!
Glad you enjoyed
Game changer! When using the mod podge how long does it typically take for it to dry before can remove the sheet?
It doesn’t take very long at all. It would just depend on your weather conditions.
New subscriber. His is genius. I’ve been wondering if there was some way to make rub off transfers. Thank you so much.
Thanks for subbing! Glad you enjoyed
Thanks so much and yes, I want to use fabric
A couple of questions - can the paper just be peeled off without printing on it first?
Your images are gorgeous - would they be safe for use on fabrics in the kitchen? Thanks for any help you can provide.
You don’t have to print on . It isn’t washable
Wow 😮 This is an amazing hack!!! ❤❤❤
Sure is
You come up with the greatest and most inventive ideas - can the glossy label sheet be reused after the transfer?
I have been able to use one twice, but after that, the ink sticks to it
You come up with the most creative ideas!! Would this work with freezer paper on the glossy side?
No it doesn’t work well
This is amazing! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
That's it? Amazing! TSMFS!
Glad you enjoyed
Awesome idea! Tfs ❤
You are so welcome!
Another great tutorial!❤
Thank you! 😊
This is an awesome tip!! I will definitely try it. My question is, if you are using fabric, is it washable once the Mod Podge is dry? Or it's more for decorative rather than wearable art?
Just decorative
Can the shiny paper from the CD label be used multiple times or just one?
I find the most you can use. It is probably twice and then the ink starts to sink into it.
Thank you
