We as Black people need to support our own. Let us stop looking for others to support and take care of us. Let us go back to the days when we had no choice but to support our own because you all need to realize that we are back in those days and we have no choice. Give whatever you can to your HBCU Alumni so that we as a people can move forward. And even those who wish they had the opportunity to be a part of an HBCU we need you to give too ( that includes me). Thank You from the bottom of my heart! True, but the administration and staff must have operations to support donations and apply them appropriately. As I said, alum donations are earned during the student's matriculation. Most HBCUs do a terrible job of customer service at every level. That has to change w better hiring. It starts with them. Each should have a TH-cam channel and IG pages that offer helpful information and marketing that solicit pride and activates donations post matriculation.

Great answer man someone who's being realistic about Prime at Jackson State. I see a lot of people saying "oh" Prime don't leave, but Prime does have ambition to prove what he can do in the SEC. That would be a huge impact on the perception of African-American coaches.

@@nolaboy38 The SEC is the premier conferences, but it’s not the only conference. There will be other opportunities for Coach Prime to land a high profile job in college football. I don’t get Coach Prime being a knee jerk reactionary person. I think it’s evident that he will move on something when the timing is right and it’s in his heart to do so.

Coach prime has said that GOD called him to Jackson, MS. He wants the SWAC to be great like the other schools. It’s about his people and making a CHANGE! He is close friends with MVSU coach and other SWAC school coaches and if y’all see their schools you will understand why this is a long term mission for him. JSU is coming along well with new locker rooms, jersey, new field, BETTER BUSINESS PRACTICES etc but when you see MVSU terrible old uniforms with no names on the back, beat up football fields, old equipment TERRIBLE business practices/merch low ticket sales etc., it’s gonna be very hard for him to leave his fellow SWAC coaches behind. Coach prime mission is bigger than JSU and it’s gonna take time to get the other SWAC schools up to par. However, JSU has to be DOMINANT to attract more attention to the conference which will make it all come together eventually. It proves that having all the things that the SEC football programs has is way better for the kids which is why JSU is winning now! It should also inspire other SWAC schools to MODEL what he’s doing! 💯

Totally enjoyed this interview. Love Deion Sanders, he's hilarious, charming, witty and faces reality head on and doesn't sugar coat the facts. Pay attention to what he said when asked if the power 5 schools felt threatened by him he denied that they were but he was quick to observe that they were watching him. He's always mindful of his status and what others think of him, he also knows that it is not always favorable and he allows it to penetrate his consciousness just enough to safeguard himself but not enough to affect his progress and that's why he is successful.

I have watching Coach Prime since debut in the NFL...He is a one of kind God given talented young man!! God is with him all the way!! He is about uplifting ALL HBCU's to the success of the Power 5 colleges..I am praying all HBCU's administrators/coaches are really listening to Coach Prime.
I wish I could have crossed paths with Coach Prime during my college football period. I would've absorb all of his football knowledge and business acumen. His sons, and daughters are truly blessed with a Godly father figure and role model!
Listen - All of the Jackson State players, and staff are truly blessed by the presence of Coach Prime as the head of their football program. He has some of the most experienced, and talented staff to couple with his ingenious abilities!
God bless you all with an undefeated season. Go mighty Tigers!!!
