Hi Ms. Karen. I've seen this video many times. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the wisdom you share with us about caring and styling our natural hair. I just tried the Doux Mousse Def and girl, I now know how to do wash and goes without doing a two-strand twist, and waiting 3 day for my hair to stretch. No more!!! Thank you and God bless you.

Great information Karen. I really appreciate the tip for using moisturizer with Mousse Def on your gray hair. My hair is mostly gray. I use and love Mousse Def and have experienced the same issue with dryness. I’ll include a moisturizer next time. Thanks!

This was very helpful especially the moisturizer tips. I've been trying the Mousse Def with the Pop Lock and the dryness on my gray hair is terrible after day 1. I'll try a Moisturizer under the Mousse Def..I really want it to work for me because I love that the drying time is much shorter. I agree with you on the Kinky Curly..it's still my favorite!
Yes yes yes! I like to switch them up, but regardless of what I do, I have to put that moisturizer underneath! That's key!
One can go broke trying to find the right natural hair product combinations!! I just big chopped and went natural! Whew!!!

Great video! I feel exactly the same on the two mousse products! Design Essentials mousse is by far my favorite. I am trying to love Mousse Def but it's too drying. I don't have grey hair but I'm high porosity so that's likely why it doesn't work for me.
Yep! That's my experience! I put a ton of moisturizer underneath and it makes a BIG DIFFERENCE!!

HI Nina! I sure will! I use to wear a twist out all of the time, but shifted to a wash n go. I will do a twist out this month, and discuss styling products as well. Its on a video list!
When I decidd to go all natural, I eventually went to a salon that used Design Essentials products. It was good to hear someone speak on this line because I have not heard a lot about them. I have drifted to other lines, but have returned to those products. Thanks for sharing.

I really like how you talk about these products in relation to natural grey hair! Cleanse, condition, and style is the "kiss" method for me. I've eliminated lots of products because of this!
I have grey hair and the leave in is key! My go to is TGIN Moisture collection before anything else goes on top and UFD is the goat. Also, I make sure none of my products have color (other than purple shampoo/conditioner). White, clear, or opaque only! I would love to use Kinky Curly but I can't take the scent (which is too bad because it does work)! TFS!

Have you heard of the Innersence I Create Hold for a firm hold? Love this product for smoothing and lasting results. It needs lots of water to perform.
Hello there! No! I haven’t heard if this product line! There are so many good ones! Yes - in my videos where I actually demonstrate how to do a wash n go, I mention that the hair has to be SATURATED wet - like I have water running down my face! Lol 😂

The Curl House Leave-In is amazing! I will have to try The Doux hair products. I don’t always achieve the look or hold that I would like. I sweat a lot from working out and I live in a very hot, humid area.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and tips. Is it bad/drying to use mousse as the only styling product for wash and go's every 5 to 7 days? I like the hold of a gel, but the mousse is easier to work with and dries faster.
MOUSSE IS GREAT!!!!! and yes - it’s dries super fast and not nearly as heavy as the other styling products!

I like Uncle funky but it is gooey and sticky for a while. I am so disappointed with whatever Shea moisture did to their curl enhancing smoothie.
I used to Shea Mouisture too! Have you tried Outdo Miracurl??? That’s a good one too!

Hello there! No I used them all separately but I will mix the doux mouse and curl glaze together: And as I mentioned in the video I tend to use a moisturizer under all of the styling products.
Both those mouse are trash on my hair.
