    Great video HOWEVER be aware there is a multiplug sensor (looks like an electrical or computer plug) at the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side. This is for the coolant temperature sensor. The sensor screws into the bottom of the radiator, and the plug plugs in to the sensor. You'll need to remove the sensor from the old radiator or get a new one to put in the new radiator. Otherwise great video and helped me get this repair done confidently!

    Thanks for the great video, did mine today because of this video. I don't think I would have tried it otherwise. $60 radiator and $30 of new coolant. Did not remove the fan though. The fewer things I touch the fewer things break. Not removing the fan did give a tad less room to work but it was still doable.

    I snapped that little return hose 3:20 and I was able to re attach it using superglue epoxy and some liquid gasket so it will stay together

    Thanks for that video. I have to replace the PS cooling tube behind or under ( not sure) the radiator. The hose is leaking at fittings over top of the PS box.

    Would the radiator need to be pulled out in order to replace the high pressure hose from power steering box to pump? I’m having no luck finding videos showing how to replace one? Mine is an ‘01 disco 2. Thanks!

    Hi ,Thanks for the video I have watched lots of them however this one I would like to disagree you don't have to open then Fan to remove the radiator . I have done it without removing the Fan.

    Where can I find instructions on how to remove the power steering cooling tubes under the radiator ? Or now to remove the transmission cooler? For 2003 Land Rover Discovery II SE 4.6L

    • @sjepson100
      @sjepson100 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      to answer my own question - the trans mission cooler move out of the way easily when the radiator is loose. the key to getting the radiator loose form its brackets is to not use a short screwdriver as shown in this video a 7:26 - but to use a long one - if you pop off the plastic grill, you can see these screws much better and you will have full access to them using a long screwdriver. or it is possible I suppose if you have a really long screw driver to reach it right through the grill - you can see these screw looking in through the grill. In any case, you must slid the transmission cooler to the the left to get it loose form the radiator bracket. Then everything is lose enough for full access to the Power Steering cooling tube if/when you need to replace it.

    What exactly are you saying at 1:07? I just replaced the radiator and it’s still overheating.Are you saying little hose? Can you provide more context?
