Hope today’s video helps you out! And if you’re looking for a solution when you get the loading error when trying to install your custom lots, make sure to watch the video because it’ll help you out! 😊
Being able to load LUTs into the camera is an amazing feature. I used to struggle to get the log footage exposed properly for the LUT conversion in post. Now, I can see in real time what it’s going to look like and I can make adjustments before pressing record. Cool trick in PS that I wasn’t aware of!
Yes they’re great! Really wish they’d update it for my a7siii and a7iv cause it would make it so much better instead of using an external monitor haha but oh well! At least my A7cii and zve1 can!
I appreciate all the info. Can you take a step back and show us how to work with a standard s-log-3 clip into our editing software. I am having trouble getting the regular ass s-log3 to rec 709 conversion LUT to work in premiere pro. I would appreciate this bit of info thanks a lot Brother!
Newbie here. So is there a way to record with the LUT style or will it come out not without the embedded config settings only to put those same settings back when editing?
So I didn’t cover that in the video myself, but found a video that could help you out to do what you want! th-cam.com/users/shorts2eN9st09DKs?si=8xBeOcDijgdtA-vX
Thank you very much for the tutorial, I have a problem, my photoshop does not have the 3D lut option activated, it is blocked, do you have a solution? Thank you very much
Every single time I try to import my luts into my camera I get the (no import) on every slot. I've created the folder as explained in the video SONY-PRO-LUT then I export the conversion lut from sonys website onto my sd card. I have a ProGrade v90 SD card. I have formatted my sd card multiple time to try and get this to work, any help?
@ hmm you might be able to export your LUT from premiere pro and just make the file size smaller since when it gives you the error it’s due to it being too big of size. You could also do the free trial of Adobe Photoshop and do that and then cancel it haha

Hmm I don’t know why your lut wouldn’t work with Photoshop.
You could technically do it with premiere pro I think.
Can you select a lut when in photography mode on a Sony?
From what I’ve tried to look into you can’t 😢 they don’t give you access to your custom luts. Only to the other picture profiles sadly.
where can i get the s709 layer
You can make it yourself! I used the Sony conversion to rec709 LUT from their website!
Working for the a74 as well?
A7iv doesn’t allow in camera LUTs sadly 😢

I also have the latest firmware on the camera. Forgot to mention I have a sony fx30
I went over in the video how to fix that from your LUT in photoshop! Go check it out again so you can try it out to see if it’ll help you out.
@@EasyTigerCreative Okay thanks man! Sadly I don't have photoshop

Tried importing the LUTS but I get a ''This file cannot be loaded" error. Any idea how or why?
Yes I covered it in the video on how to fix it 😬 it’s on 3:47
@@EasyTigerCreative Thanks -- this is exactly what I was looking for. It worked perfectly.
@@PatrickDiver glad to hear 🤘
