I love mine! It’s very great and versatile. Won’t be as “pro” as the a7iv in some aspects but to be honest not much difference in quality. And you get some updated specs with it and a compact body. Love mine.

So true! So many great cameras for the price nowadays, it’s truly hard to miss picking the right one that meets your own standards haha

That would be cool to find something like that! I wonder if Tamron or sigma will make some for apsc more! I know Tamron has a 17-70 f2.8 that looks pretty cool. You could also use a full frame lens and adapt it to apsc of the range you want too! Might be bigger but for that amount of range, it’ll always be big no matter what haha

@@EasyTigerCreative I own the Tamron 17-70 F2.8 and imo it is the best fast aperture "do everything" zoom lens there is for APS-C. It is bigger and heavier than it's competitors (Sigma 18-50 and Sony 16-55, both F2.8) but it has the most range and OSS, so that's a positive for me. Still good to handle. But i am missing more tele-focal range. And i actually bought the Tamron 35-150 for my APS-C camera and i liked it very much, but i returned it after 2 weeks. For an APS-C camera it is way too big and heavy, way too expensive and this time i was missing some focal length at the WIDE end. Thats why i would love something similar for APS-C but with something around 24-130 or so. I am having hope that it would be still cheaper and smaller than the Tamrons 35-150. But maybe that is an illusion?!

@ that makes sense! Yea I’m hopeful that they’ll do more this year! They’ve been coming out with great lenses so it’ll be cool to see what they come up with! I know a lot of apsc users would love having it!

Honestly it’s up to you! I mean this lens would work with your apsc camera and then once you get the full frame camera it’ll work too!

If you’re going to be indoors then I’d look into a lens that has a faster aperture like a 70-200 f2.8. Or see if there are other ones with more range with a low aperture that isn’t too costly too!

There’s different uses for both but both are considered for vlogging and what not. So I mean people could prefer the portability of the osmo 3 and simply use it for documenting for faster use. Who knows 😉

@ haha that’s funny! Something might have changed your mind somehow but as long as it works for you know that’s all that matters! I’ve been using the switch pod for my vlog mini tripod. Not flexible but it’s sturdy haha

@EasyTigerCreative I am going to get the Canon and Nikon DSLR version and Nikon and Sony Mirrorless version. To bad Canon does not take the Mirrorless version for its Mirrorless cameras.

I planned to do a video on that in the future but short version is basically shoot in log and depending where I’m at I’ll leave it on auto with a max of iso 50-400.

I think both lenses perform well. It’ll really be minor things of sharpness and what not between them. It’ll really come down to if you need wider range and a bit more with the 50mm at f4 or need more light and go with the f2.8 and give up some range.
