loved the seats in these, so comfortable.
Lovely straight old Wolseley 18/85. Glad to see it still has its original dynamo & looks like a fairly high spec car given the fact that it has a heated rear window as standard as well as these back in the day were optional extra if my memory serves me correctly.
Nice roomy interior & plenty of wood in cabin as well as comfy seats.
Whoever will buy this rare classic car please look after it & keep it garaged.
That's the car that featured in the film 'The Iron Lady.' It should have twin carbs on being an S but I'm sure I read that a previous owner had it converted for better fuel economy.

I can remember a taxi service in Clacton on Sea in early 70's that had a fleet of these delightful cars
I can just imagine them all parked up in station rd Clacton: waiting for fares) there was a cab firm in Chadwell heath who had a a driver who had a Morris 2200 auto) in 1984" it was a old car then" then he bought a bronze princess after that : a lot of there drivers were using cars that were 10+ years old then .

Was the b type engine a brill power unit and of course the magnificent hydro gas suspension in vented by Austin rover as was the transverse engine which many copied wish still made these I would be first in the q I really miss my maxi and princess to
Had one was a great motor lovely ride but as usual clarkson ran Austin rover down on top gear I worked for Austin rover distribution and lots cancelled their order after clarkson s demolition of most of Austin rovers motors he really is a nasty piece of work and we closed the garage and showroom and 200 lost their jobs because of his mouth

@@user-io2et5bv2s it’s the best carb theSU CARB WAS A 2inch one not 1and a quarter inch MUCH SUPERIOR TO THE FORD ZENITH OR STRONGBERG THEY WERE AWFULL rolls Royce used SU CARB TO UNDER LICENSE

Tidy car, a couple of inconsistencies, the side trims and badges e from the S Model that had twin SU Carbs, but under the hood it has a single SUCarb
