What a beauty. I had one in 1976, when I was 21. In reality, I was too young to appreciate it. VERY thirsty cars, but gorgeous !

Back in the day they couldn't shift them and sales were very poor, but for room you can't beat them, you could virtually hold a dance in the rear passenger cabin. A 3 ltr straight six and not transverse like many folk think they are. This one is a real beauty, but they are quite thirsty.

I don't understand why the lads can't get a car ready before filming. Make sure it starts, make sure bonnet and doors are open, no more juggling with camera. It's not rocket science.

Because they are mainly sold as seen, especially barn finds, purists love all that.

Very nice car indeed but l don’t know why the person selling it doesn’t put a new battery on it!

Difficult to sell back in the day, the rear wheel drive coupled with Hydrolastic suspension made the ride a bit ‘seasick’ for some.

A young guy did a road-test on a well-sorted 3-litre last year, he really felt they were underrated as it rode and drove well. Same engine as a Big Healey?

I really think these Austins were just so elegant . A really gorgeous car that I hope goes tp a good home At least spares will be ongoing as the type 35 Borg Warner is very common from the MK2 Jag to the Stag , and the engine spares looked after by the Healey brigade .
