I covered many miles in E models back in the 50s (as a child) 60s and 70s and never travelled in one with a noisy axle, despite the remarks in the video. (I worked for a Vauxhall dealer in the 60s)

Just love these youtube reviews Mathewsons, but please, please, please, turn the radio of while you are doing them,I'm sure the rest of the staff won't mind missing out until your finished,it's such a distraction from the commentary, when Derek popped his head inside the Cresta i could hear him fine,actually I'm surprised he hasn't told someone to turn it of whilst he's talking, thank you.

Have a 57E model Cresta back in 76, was rather rusty back then, but rare none the less, couldn't get a rear wheel bearing for it, so put a later cresta PC axle in it.

As a fan of Bangers and Cash, a previous visitor to Mathewsons and a classic car owner I completely agree with the other comments about the hidious bloody music ! If the staff can't work without it being this loud don't bother with the videos, or turn it right down whilst you do them. This has become a real issue in recent times, sadly you are at risk of turning off potential customers.
