This is actually eerily similar to when I was attending the church of Christ cult for a handful of months and them forcing me to be baptized (and praise God I didn’t get baptized with them!!), twisting all the Bible verses, love bombing, isolating me from family, telling me Satan was trying to take me away when I tried to leave! I was about 20 years old when this happened probably about Anabelle’s same age and I too was a believer in God but I hadn’t studied the Bible before and I was such a baby Christian so I was so happy when they asked me to study the Bible with them. The Lord saved me and opened my eyes seriously just like Anabelle when I discovered this place was a cult my body went numb and I knew instantly. The blinders came off and God made it so clear. He is SO so faithful it’s amazing

Thank you for sharing your story. I was approached by this cult while visiting South Korea. I remember praying for discernment the minute they approached me, and asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom, and to reveal relevant scriptures to me. When they said things I would keep pointing to scriptures using my Bible app and ask them about how their relationship was with Jesus. Eventually they smiled and tried to get away from me as fast as possible. Praise God you left.

Great Testimony! I was approached back in 2019 on College campus by two guys around same age and they came prepared with binder and diagrams. We went back and forth on many themes of bible (Mother God, The New Jerusalem, Jesus ect.) My advice to everyone is to stay in the word of God. One was a korean middle-aged woman, another was a younger lady (either in her late teenage years or early 20's) Both of them came into my shop and asked whether my colleague and I believe in God. We told them yes, and they shared some bible verse with us. Then korean lady turned to the book of Genesis, and showed me Genesis 1:27 , "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Since God created man and woman in his image, there is a female God too. I was like, "What"?? I asked her what is the name of this "mother god". At first she said she cannot tell me, I kept pressing and she finally showed us a clip on her ipad. This "mother god" was wearing a hanbok, surrounded by people from different countries. I asked her where is this "mother god" now? Is she alive? She told me she is in korea. Luckily that time I have some basic knowledge of the bible, I told her I only believe in one God, He is a male and there is no mother god written in the bible and we take the bible as the final authority. I asked her to get out of my shop. After that I did some research on them and realized they are a cult.
Crazy, my mom prayed for me as I was leaving the house cause had a crap day at work , left home and randomly stopped at a gas station chicken spot, that I knew of was the best tenders and potato wedges , decided to stop by before heading to my friends and the cashier lady invited me to study with this church. 8 minutes from my house after she prayed for me , very interesting how these things work out
My whole family are in this “organization” and my mom has been in it for 4 years. I was baptized by them around after covid ended and attended services and passover and everything. I was only doing these things because it was my mom wishes and she really wanted to save me from going to hell and wants the best for me. But even when i tried to gaslight myself that i believe in this, i still couldn’t accept the stuff that they claimed to be true. It is now a battle btw me and my mom and my family bc i refuses to attend any of the bible study class or believe that there are 2 God. I feel miserable everyday and i’m trying to get out because i’m still living with my family and have to depend on them in the meantime until i sort out my work situation. I don't live in that area so haven't come across them in the local area.

As someone who has been in the WMSCOG, I have challenged myself as a Christian and what it truly means--in scriptures when they said that Jesus is going to come again a second time, this would be God's 3rd time coming to the Earth to pass judgment. If you truly believe that Jesus is God instead of Jesus is the son of God, this would make sense. I have to study 📖 the Bible in secrecy and leave the church alone for a while to gain answers in the book of Revelation as well as why Jesus wanted disciplines who are disabled or weak( I will give you the verse if you reply to my comment). Jesus NEVER wanted peace on earth. He doesn't want to celebrate any holidays. Granted, it has been a while since I have pulled out my Bible and why some religions denomination feel that the WMSCOG are extremists. There are teaching that have morphed my views about Christianity when it comes to valuing the earth, claiming it as a prison. Religions just like with anything in life with carefully studying have rebounds, and you have to listen and understand where this is coming from. It has been a while since I watched a video from this channel, and some of this right on the money when you are talking about God and ridicule some of the teachings of the "true church". I don't necessarily say an enemy can hear a direct prayer from God; however, I feel like it is a sign that you have to see everything in Gods' eyes instead of your human eyes. You can be judged when you're in Heaven as well in a place called Purgatory. There's more to what Annabelle's prayer meant within the context. I am in a rock and a hard place when it comes to religion in general after joining this church despite the number of Bible studies I have been through. Not so much about God coming in the flesh or so to claim, just about de-valuing humanity has got me to question: does God truly care about all of us as we were taught?

One weird thing I seen when I visited that church was tooth brushes in the public restroom.
I think that is a Korean custom to brush your teeth after you eat. That is why you saw the toothbrushes.
