The goal of this script was to make a Seija fight while using her ability to flip anything in other ways than flipping the screen, that's why she never does it here. I actually made the second spell before I got into Len'en too. For the second and fourth nons; I think it's important to have patterns that are more memorization and/route heavy to spice things up now and then. Plus I find the second non a lot of fun to dodge. You can thank Python for being the sacrificial lamb that made me nerf EVERY single pattern on all difficulties because the old version of this script was very very unbalanced. I used to use my own experience as a benchmark for how hard everything is, which was a tertible idea since I had at least a month+ of experience. Now that I watch it again it still looks really fast for Normal mode tbh. With the LoLK bossrush and onward, I started comparing patterns to official games instead, so that should be a lot more enjoyable for most people. I see the top left of the screen went unnoticed. Thanks for playing, showcasing and glad to see you enjoyed it! This is still my second biggest script so far and I put a lot of effort into it!
Oh these are absolutely marvelous. They truly capture the spirit of Seija in so many unique ways. My favorite's probably The World Revolving, because it's so simple and yet it's so aesthetically pleasing, thematically appropriately, and challenging to dodge.
Glad you like it! I absolutely love the effect on The Worlds Revolving, it's something that happened on complete accident and the moment I saw it I knew I had to keep it in. All the bullets always move at the same speed with no acceleration or anything, but it somehow created this really cool effect that makes it look like the pattern slows down or accelerates depending on where the bullets are.
"Bro I don't even know what an app locale is." So are we getting an "Bee struggles to get the script working" montage in addition to the regular April Fools script?
I agree with Omega on the ample warnings; it's a design choice that some developers don't really remember, despite its significance to a first-timer, even developers who I adore. So props to that. Though... yeah, I do miss having at least one screen-flipping shenanigan, this being Seija. Understandable design choice of messing with just the bullets instead though, and they're pulled off really well. On a different tangent, Omega, can you add Touhou Fan-made Virtual Autography into the full games poll? The full version finally released on Steam, and I think many would like to see a playthrough of that, me included. Even if I don't find it that fun personally, but it'll probably grow on me the more I play it, like SoHW and GoDS. On the ending, I personally use Locale Emulator instead of Applocale to run Danmakufu. Dunno if it's any better or worse than Applocale, but that was what I found xD
...who says Kuroji and Seija can't have a crossover? Lusus and I have already given Seija bullet-flipping, so who knows how long until Kuroji gets his screen flipping? But anyway, this script is great stuff. The nonspells are fantastic with how they really push the boundaries of Seija's nonspell style, and the spells manage to pull in a lot of great gimmicks that fit the “reversal” theme without being unfair to the player. Favourite spell was The Worlds Revolving, mostly for its pattern. Also I guess Omega didn't notice the “Kishin Seiga” in the top left. Yeah, that was intentional. And next up... yeaaaaaaah. April Fools' time. Time to die of laughter at the Editor's attempt to play Touhou.
This script's only come out fairly recently, so I couldn't have played it before. However, I do think I know what you're talking about, since this isn't the first time I've fought Seija in a single script like this. I think you may be thinking of Opposite-thinking Trickster by The Terrible Bullet Dodger th-cam.com/video/tUQiXgRQEOw/w-d-xo.html
@@LushieTilde that's super cool that you added that! I noticed the Jevil fight in Deltarune reminded me of a lot of Touhou stuff in general so it's nice to see him acknowledged in a danmakufu script.
As someone who played the old version, I can just say... That first spell was the bane of my existence. ...also what do you mean I've been doing the second non wrong all this time, and that the fourth non is color ordered???
I generally don't, since I never found the point to it since in a few months, I'm gonna be uploading the full game anyways. So doing it in my format I'd essentially be playing through Stage 1-3 twice over with the same commentary. Recently however, I've been able to be able to seamlessly have my editor react alongside me so we can both do first impressions to something. So maybe. No promises though.

I mean assuming it's ph3 or any of its forks he should be fine. But if it's 0.12m then *oh no*
Been waiting for this

Yup, I've hhad my ear to the ground waiting for the full version to come out. It'll be added to the next fangame poll.
