hmmm... can't you just have choose popplio, then cheese the electric gym, and have it evolve it into a primarina, which is your tess counter? tinkaton is found very late in bronze forever.
True though I think if u don't want to choose popplio gardevoir is also a great choice considering u can catch ralts the route before rosecove city. It's weak to steel, Ghost & poison but can just counter poison types with psychic so there's no problem with that. Having draining kiss is also good.
This is a really bad team for story progression, speaking on personal experience. Your team should be complete before you reach the 5th gym imo, under-leveling is a huge issue especially when it takes a good hour of repeating a trainer battle getting a certain mon that was level 38 to level 60 so it could provide some use.
@@BryGuy_GamesExp share isn't the problem, since obviously everyone's gonna have that. I'm impressed that you beat the game with this team, however it's not gonna be the same for everyone else. The problems with this team are; Too many self-stat lowering moves, half of this team is caught in the mid-late game, there's literally no flying type coverage other than Swampert but rock slide isn't a STAB so that's a big issue, and the fact that this team is more designed for PvP rather than story mode where you have to fight the same type over and over again, and you have to keep going back to the pokemon center because of the lack of PP on moves. I'm curious to see how you made up for these errors, though. Edit: I just realized Heat Rotom covers flying types lmao
@@Homelander731 For storyline progression? I suggest Infrared's "outdated" best team which is Swampert, Ampharos, Lucario, Staraptor, Houndoom & Florges. Personally, it got me through all eight gyms without losing a single battle or having to use potions compared to the team in this video.

Rowlet is a decent starter choice too,it can counter the team admins easily and the 8th gym can be done relatively easily
Wanna try your luck or pay, togekiss can be a flier and a Tess ender for your team to open for more team options
You can get dragonite, AND salamance for op coverage and a psuedo legendary as soon as after gym 3
Ampharos is a electric gym 4 (one of if not the hardest imo) while being a spat god with the mega (which is dragon)
Literally any fire fighting starter is also a really good option for obvious reasons, that typing runs through early until gym 3 and 4
Poplio can be a Tess counter and ends gym 2 and 5,never sleep on them
Scyther can fill an extra team slot, you get it early and it counters parts of the 4th, 6th,and 7th gym while resisting Tess (besides flamethrower)
I get how limited fire types are in this game with a high bst, but bc u will need an alt for trading consider getting 2 starters (kinda cheap but necessary)
Gardevior is a good option for killing Tess while having a good mega spat, right next to Ralts is slowbro which can be a good water type to use

Another to add is troxicity, in pbf it’s just at the lagoona daycare and can be a good filler mon for your team
