WOW Scott you finally got a Fleming to tour. Great video mate. I really love Fleming, my fav is the 58 with the mid ship owners cabin. The engines are mounted on thick rubber washers and the shafts have PTO and are also encased in rubber essentially making them vibration free. All the mounting bolts are marked, so you can see if they need tensioning. The quality is second to none.
Hey Philip, to be honest I wasn’t extra be so taken with it…. I think the idea of owning a boat that you could go exploring on is just awesome. @@weloveboating I've seen it! That was the video which made me favour the Selene over the Fleming motor yacht. I''m looking forward to seeing your walk-through of the Selene '65...yes!
Thanks for sharing as this yacht is a very special version for long range cruising. Perhaps you could gen up on the mech and tech systems as your channel grows. But good video so will subscribe. Cheers from Wales !

Beautiful looking boat, but was wondering about two things. First in the aft cockpit what's in the cabinet starboard side against the salon bulkhead, is it a docking station sink, or grill? Last thing was those drawers under both the wardrobes in the master, there wasn't any type of knobs on them, where they hidden or something, lol?

Hey there great to hear from you, I’m sorry yes i can imagine how that would be tedious- I’ll need to practice some more restraint going forward. Thanks for some honest feedback 😊👍 - Scott
An unprofessional video and audio presentation accompanied by weak and sometimes inaccurate technical details in what is called an "in depth walkthrough and boat review". Appreciate the effort but a lot of improvement is required if you want people to subscribe to your channel. The boat on the other hand.......well nobody can spoil a Fleming.
@@rickwilliams5141 hi there Rick, thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave such a detailed critique, all your comments are always welcome here 😊👍 - Scott
@@weloveboating Lots of ums and ahs, pauses and repeats in the audio. A presenter needs to be a bit more fluid than we mere mortals or it becomes very annoying very quickly. Several rehearsal walkthroughs should be undertaken for obvious reasons but mainly to identify any unknow or unsure of equipment/systems. Eg, the air-conditioner fan and heat exchange element in one of the cupboards could have been correctly identified and named. Scott probably did a better job than I could have done but I am not trying to be a presenter on a TH-cam Channel. Hope this helps:)

An excellent tour of the Fleming, thank you!
Personally, I'd prefer a Selene Raised Pilothouse over a Fleming, but that's just me.

Yes that would add extra range and really allow for long long passages 👍

What do you think of this Fleming 55, does it tick all the boxes of a long range cruising motor yacht?
Easy answer Scott, of course it does.

You don’t seem to be well versed in boats… clear ac unit in master. Confusing engine room forward aft…..

It's a gorgeous boat but when there is so much gushing it gets rather tedious and I have trouble watching the whole video.
