Monkey apples are part of the Strychnos family and are a staple in a number of indigenous herbivores diets. Slightly citric in taste and good cricket ball practise when short of a ball! To be is special and incredible thicket fauna and flora populations. Very beautiful reserve.

We loved our time in Tembe when we visited South Africa about 6/7 years ago. We got to see our very first Suni Antelope there.

@@noelleenboyers9120 Yes, they have a small population of Suni there, we've done the walk with Sipho and got to see them on foot. Brilliant experience.

Elephants have very sensitive trunks and beatings are extremely painful and uncomfortable for them. They can't smell, feed, drink and it hurts for a long time for them, hence their fear of bees.
