Thanks for this! I have a couple of Filmo Sportsters, a Ciné-Kodak 8 Model 25, and a DeJur Electra that I’ve been wanting to try out, but haven’t decided on a film stock. The ASA 40 B/W reversal stock from FPP looks like it may be the winner. I lived in NOLA for a while during the 90s; it was nice to see the Crescent City again. 😊
I I heroted one of these these a few months the ago. Any tips on where to go to get it working or just find out info about it? (In Houston BTW, I love NOLA!!)
The shots were exposed automatically since there's no manual control on this camera, and I was pleasantly surprised with the result. Long-term light exposure can make the circuit and meter stop working, but it had been stored in a closet for decades and was still responsive.
The Film Photography Project started providing film and services for standard 8mm last year! Check out their guides and other channels like Analog Resurgence - that's how I learned before jumping in.
I friggin love this. Just purchased the same camera for like $25 in working order. Can’t wait to shoot with it.
L❤ve it! Great exposure control 👍🏻love the framing!

so beautiful! I want one! But how do I upload the footage on my computer?
After the film is developed, you'll have to get it scanned, probably by professionals! There are lots of resources out there
@@PaulSnowProductions how much is it to go see a professional
@@PaulSnowProductionsI think when it's developed you can ask him what format you want right a CD I tjink
How did you get it uploaded?
How reliable would you say the electric eye is? Were these shots exposed manually?
