Ben spoke about "This is what we live for". I tell you, this is what we watch for. Your eye for what it's like to be there and live there is gold. Nobody does better, the thing that Bono called "bring over there, over here" I've said it before. If Ben and a Ashley did a show about sitting at a bus stop, at the end, I would have the feel for wishing that bus would hurry up. Today, I have the mood of that fish farm like it was out behind my house. Magic
Thank you for taking us along on your adventures, I live vicariously through your exploration of cultures. Love watching Willa grow as you grow as parents. Looking forward to BC content, new baby and change of pace content. Love from Chicago Illinois.
The first baby is like having three. There's the child and the new, each of you. The melancholy you're feeling is the long goodbye you say to your old self. That will comprise the first year. I would love to see one of your introspective videos on this subject.
Cool, I stayed in Krabi for about a year in the mid-90's. I spent most of my days out on the water fishing. Met a few of those squid fisherman who invited me on to the boat for an evening to help out... well, mostly watch. lol. That's a lot of work.
Another great video, this is why I like your channel, before COVID you two were doing this type of content more so than any other channel…thank you and thank you for sharing….
I love the way you get on your Dingy and sale up the river, get onto a fishing barge, talk to the people walking on the wooden partitions with your little kid, where the fish are twice her size, my goodness you are very brave sailor/adventurer, keep safe with best wishes.
Hope you're not feeling to uncomfortable in the hot weather this week in B.C! Lol . Such good picturesque scenes in this video plus Willa grabbing her bunny not letting go Bravo Willa . Stay safe and Thank's for great content you're so natural.
Thank you for coming to Thailand! I was born in the southern region around Surat Thani. The people there are very skilled at fishing but sadly, the Thai education system is very f**cked up right now so the language barrier is still huge. Also, most of the big boats there have gears! I've been on a scuba diving trip before and I saw the captain change the gear, haha. Have a nice day!
I love following you two. Ashley's picking up some Thai! That will help you much. Here's a shout out from Southern Indiana. Hope to see you all on the water in a year or so. 🙏🇺🇸
In Australia we have only Crocodiles; The SALT water croc which feeds mainly on tourists, and the FRESH water croc which we all have as pets that sleep in our beds at night next to our kangaroos.😂😂
nice to see back some scenery from Krabi,...mixed feelings tough, i lost my baby girl (only 3 months old) in Krabi in 1993,...thx for the ever so nice episodes, friendly greetings from Brian
Lol I said the same thing to myself re: “did it change gears?” LOL. When we think of Thailand we sure don’t think about those ‘never come to shore’ boats. Whole different world. When I started travelling it was ok do the touristy thing but once I got off that track and into local life, it definitely opened my eyes. It’s definitely the way to go. Atta girl! Keep ‘er between the trees eh Willa! 🥰
I’m 57 (mom of three adults)...but I LOVED the palm trees!! I guess I’m still a juvenile at heart! ♥️ But seriously, your line of super tall palm trees was unlike anybody else’s...not just another circle logo...which is why I loved it!!! Now...yours is a circle! Guess I’ll have to stop watching...LOL! 😂
dandy show this one, excellent vibe and good feelings as usual. maybe you heard recently that there was a thai fishing boat found adrift in vietnam waters. captain dead, entire crew missing. very mysterious stuff. thnx for the entertainment and stay safe and happy.
Cool video ! Have you seen the huge fruit bats ? Wingspan over a meter wide ! Hundreds fly over looking like Jurassic Park. Lol It's a real photo opportunity if you watch the ladies sort the fish when they off load from the boats. Also you can watch the ladies sew repair the fishing nets ! Cheers Sail on.
"One guy was drinking a mickey of something". I am sure there will be many who do not get that Canadian reference. Me as a Canadian, I appreciate the slang reference. :-)
Hey Ben don't let anyone tell you that we don't have Alligators here in Australia. We have over 100 of them just go to the Australian reptile farm in NSW
Yes, we have crocodiles in Australia, mostly in the northern parts of the country. Do not camp close next water up north, that includes rivers and ocean in the ' top half'.
OK, Alligators are mostly the states. Salt water crocodiles are Australia and I think in some other Deep south pacific islands. Other types of crocs are in in Africa and Asia. Salty's are super aggressive. Crocs are larger and more pointed snout. Alligators snout are rounded.
I enjoyed the fish raising tour. thanks About those fishing boats maybe they would take you out. Have you asked? Oh, have you ever found any good light colored honey? Near seattle
Rule of thumb……. Crocs are saltwater and alligators are freshwater, brackish some times. Crocs pointed nose and alligator blunt or square nose. Alligators we eat all the time, in season of course. 🤷🏻♂️
I would literally suck everyday for all the beauty and joy in being on the sea/ocean. So glad to see a couple enjoying life and such a beautiful little girl, I'm single parent, my son just turned 18 and I'm trying to get him to take sailing lessons with me. They grow up soo fast and unless I can have a aexy change, become a teen agian I dont see my son having much planning in going sailing with me lol. See yall next time
I loved the line about how remote islands are not as interesting as spending time with Thai people n there culture. I almost married a Thai woman. I too love their fun and easy going ways. Mai bin lai 🙏 Sawadee krup
What cool looking boats those were too, not what I would’ve expected. Great videos!! If you change the logo again, go check out the “free chip-art”, it’s cheaper than paying someone like me to do the same thing and charge $80 an hour for graphic design or “artwork”, then you order tee shirts or whatever substrate you want and get quotes for just the printing and you email them your “camera ready art” and the items. (No taxes either because it’s all labor)
Alligators vs. Crocs. Alligators are way smaller than crocs, crocs mainly live in saltwater areas as alligators are both fresh and saltwater. Crocs have a pointy nose and alligators have a round nose. Mainly find alligators around the gulf coast of America and crocs in Africa and Australia. And another one that is in South America in the Amason rain forest would be the Caiman which is similar to an Alligator.
Hats ? Sure , promises promises. Just kidding, you guys are funny. I really like the way you get into the life in these places. One I still think about quite often was the boat building in Indonesia (I think, not Malaysia I hope) but it was a fantastic episode. So, for me you guys are doing exactly what I like to see. Thanks ,liked, shared Thankyou.
Greetings from a smoking hot 106f! forecasted White Rock BC!!! typical Canadian...complaining its too hot, too cold or too wet lol so what's the plan....Ash is glowing, you made plans to shut down the boat? those Thai boats look stunning...huge modern galleons .
Aaccording to the recent daily news looks like B.C is not the best place to be according to the latest news, Too high temperatures are making forest fires likely, but you are probably aware of the problems - Stay safe whereever you are . I love the channel, looking forward to the next.
I live in Arkansas and I see people calling alligators crocodile all the time.Alligators have a wide snout and look kinda like an American bully or pit bull.A crocodile has a longer narrow snout.❣️

You guys are so good at producing video's! I feel like I am right there with you two in Thailand.

Thx Ashley and Ben for another wonderful video xxx
Eagle with a white tail, possibly a white - bellied sea eagle.
We get them here in Australia as well.
0:53 LOL, the music!
So, when you go back for your full foray into parenting, will you have to go through the same extensive prep on your boat to get ready to sail?
The 1st fish were cobias. Great game fish and good to eat on the grill. We have them here in the U.S.
I was just going to say that. Never seen them, semi farmed.
Where is your necklace from?
Love seeing your adventures. Thanks for sharing.
I always look forward to Sunday’s...so I can watch your vlogs!!!
Great video, thank you. Love the videos where you interact with other cultures.

Boat with gears! now theres a good idea (if you have enough power lol)
Some of those boats have old bus engines and Transmissions in them. They used what ever they had on had.
Walking on the wood is like when you introduced us to when you were working as loggers!!!
Those are the adventures that I dream of! Thanks for sharing…
Thank you so much for sharing.

I wonder what people would think if I built a long tail for the lake here in North Carolina. 🤔😆
Your name is Big Joe = normal!
Hello fellow North Carolinian!

@@RAEckart22 Yes I'm normal most of the time.

Your Video’s are always enjoyable
I wonder if there is rabbit size life jacket for Willa's plush?
Love you guys and here in Australia we have Crocs! 😁
I'll bet they adapted a diesel truck engine for boat use, transmission and all. Up shifting once the boat is moving probably improves fuel mileage.
What was the super fast/strong fish called? You said it was stronger than a tuna...
GTs.. or giant trevally

Crocodiles in Australia. alligators in America. They have different heads. Think greyhound (alligator) vs Great Dane (crocodile)
You guys are going to need a bigger dinghy : ) I let the ads play out to help on the double college funds.
