Pork adobo and pork sinigang are two of the most popular Filipino foods, if not the most. I'm glad you tried adobo already. Try sinigang na baboy on your next stop, just make sure to put a little fish sauce in the soup. Cheers!❤

Adobo is actually our national dish. Cooked differently in different regions. I think in Bicol where they use coconut milk a lot, they add that as well.
As some here suggested, try SInigang also which won Taste Atlas' World's Best Soup in 2021. It can be pork, shrimp, or even salmon Sinigang. And try also Kare-kare which is another popular Filipino dish. Just don't forget to eat it with a little Bagoong (shrimp paste). :)

Adobo is Filipino traditional food it can last long for a week without refrigeration and the flavor is boosting if it stored for a long time.

Most of our dishes comes with rice. The best way to do it is to mix it with the rice even with the soup. You are doing great so far! And don't be hesitant to use your hands while eating it's very normal for us Filipinos.

    • @lostandjetlagged

I thought you said there are no good foods in the Philippines only in India? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well, at least in the Philippines cook and staff uses gloves and exercise cleanliness. In India its all about
bare hands - touching money and touching everything then play with your foods 😂😂

    • @lostandjetlagged

Hahaha we have changed our minds! Filipino food is delicious. We still really love indian food though
