I cried as the song went on. My heart could feel the ever growing loneliness in the darker parts, and it could feel the hope in the more joyful parts. Being musically and emotionally inclined, I felt all the emotions and all the pain of the storyteller.
Incase yall didn't see the text things, this is what it reads once, there was a world a world which we called our home but it did not last not for us the world too small, our goals too vast so we had no choice but to leave we abandoned our world, our only true home what became of this world now? once, there was a world now it is but an empty rock in space what once was a world...
you did great at letting the people know, but don't forget to say that to look for them, you gotta look at the tempo automation and the memories in the video. hope this helps, i can't do a good job at explaining things, so tell me if i did good.
I got pretty bad adhd, it gives me a terrible attention span and i tend to judge songs or get bored of them at literally the first 3 seconds, doesnt mean i hate them right away, this happened with my favorite songs too at first ! I had to give it a couple more relistens to really get into it . its something i dont really like about my brain but i cant control it :,)) However, whenever i play your music for the first listens i never really consider skipping them, i dont get bored and they get me hooked the literal second i get to them , thats impressive to me Your works are so beautiful , theyre so layered and have so much story to tell , youre an amazing composer !
im imagining this is the start of a story where you explore a wasteland of a planet, for all the good and bad like a mix between a fantasy jrpg and a sci-fi story
2:57 The way you used a filter to make it seem like a faulty recording of what the world once was before it was destroyed was just genius. This is truly an art piece.
Loving how perfectly the story matched the music, and how melancholy the middle bit is like- the song manages to go from a wonderous feel to this sense of loss, which only grows to all-out mourning by the end this is genuinely just amazing
Woah this is so cool! The sentimental opening, the static going into the more dramatic section and then back but as if it was older??? I love this so much, really great work ♥
I cried. I straight up cried out of the raw emotion you put in your music. Good job. Good job being an expert composer. The way the story is intertwined and reflects the part of the music it’s stated in, the way that the music changed emotionally…. I can’t help but visualize what the music looks like…. A happy world, yet a facade for the broken rock it’s become due to its inhabitants’ desires and greed…. The storyteller is regretting leaving, regretting that they couldn’t save the planet. They feel remorse in their story, and thus the static and dissonance within the music.
This makes me think of the story of a farm boy who is living life’s ups and downs, and then the transition at 2:00 and after makes me think of a villlain watching him, until the farm boy faces the villain, they fight and eventually near the end the farm boy helps the villain, who’s just a lost guy, find himself and they both go their separate ways and keep living their lives as we see a flash forward of their happy lives. Man that’s long
I audibly went “wow” at 0:41 This is the very first time I’ve heard one of your songs and I’m already obsessed. It can be scary to put your work out there, but you really do have something special you’re sharing with the world.
Impressive growth on your channel in just a couple of months. And it's well deserved cause you make some very creative music. What I like is that you never know what type of music it will be either, but you can almost guarantee that it's not going to disappoint. Really cool vibe on this one
This makes me think of a time traveler who has friends in every era of time, but over the course of their lives stops getting visited by them, until the end of their lives, when they see them again and realize just how painful their end is, and how hard their friend worked to prevent it. That the reason they're in pain is because they knew them, their fates were intertwined from the moment it started and well past their individual ends. They can remember the good times with a perspective that taints them, shifts it into something new and unfamiliar. Not bad or good, just different in a scary way. And while every friend thinks that they're a tragedy, the traveler mourns them all. Having to make their lives great and their sacrifices greater, to keep the timeline moving to the one where they are born.
1:57 The final fight against the friend you had throughout the game. The final moments of it. Your memory’s spinning around you as you fight within space.
i really like the fact that I had you in my home page and I don't regret clicking on your video, I also listened other songs you uploaded and damn they're total hits!
Criminally underrated. I absolutely love the guitar vst, it sounds so authentic and the way you made each of these instruments work together is so beautiful!
Dude i love this song so much because at some parts it really sounds like lena raines style of music but it also has a lot of your style and this piece just has so much personality i love it
Wow. This is just. Man... How do I even describe this. It's just such a musical way to express yourself. I could make up an entire story with it on my own, although I assume your own story is hidden somewhere in the song. I wish my stuff could be as storytelling as this. It's actually insane. No other words. I'll check out 🙏
hey this is really awesome! flex is doing a pretty good job too, the guitar patches leave a little to be desired for a lot of things but for this style it works really well. if you want a better guitar library though, i'd suggest looking into Ample Guitar M Lite. it's free and sounds really good!
To my future self, When im grown up and become an artist... come back to this amazing song... future me, reach my goals, go to scad, become an artist, and live your best life
TAZ Balance has made it so that hearing static will make me cry. cant wait for the Stolen Century graphic novel to come out so I can listen to this on loop while reading it
The hero we loved, the man who kept us safe. The monster slayer, the peace keeper..now watching me with dead eyes as they pressed the sword that had killed everyone else, to my neck.
thought up a scenario in my head (Two people in a room, having a heart to heart. The sun's descending shine, illuminant through the window, enveloping the room with a vibrant, orange hue. One goes:) "Hey, you know.. you can always tell me what's on your mind. If it's a problem, I can't guarantee that I can fix it... but I can always listen. So, please. Tell me what's wrong." (cue in this song) edit: this does not hold strong for everything after the beginning part of the song
after a bit, i finally can comment. this song at certain parts sounded like some end of the world stuff, to me though. everyone has their own opinion. :]
currently working on a project that i delayed until today (the due date is tomorrow) and this is exactly how i feel right now because i have not done ANYTHING
My perception of music just shattered. This isn’t just music, this is a poem.
true…
