- a song on the longer end, made in FL Studio with FLEX for the guitar and piano, and Vital for electronic sounds
this time i really wanted to try writing a song with a specific story in mind (unlike in the past where i pretty much just improvised a half-story that just barely made sense with the music), and as part of that for this song i decided to play with the idea of having the same melody play through different chord progressions :O
i know we all love deep hidden mysterious lore so i added a few "hints" in the pattern names to help get the general idea across better ;)
also the first time im using a guitar in one of my uploads! but i have no idea how to play guitar irl so idk if any of the score here is actually possible to play T_T let me know if there's any way i can improve the overall sound though :3

like a mix between a fantasy jrpg and a sci-fi story
I got pretty bad adhd, it gives me a terrible attention span and i tend to judge songs or get bored of them at literally the first 3 seconds, doesnt mean i hate them right away, this happened with my favorite songs too at first ! I had to give it a couple more relistens to really get into it .
its something i dont really like about my brain but i cant control it :,))
However, whenever i play your music for the first listens i never really consider skipping them, i dont get bored and they get me hooked the literal second i get to them , thats impressive to me

i really like how put bits of a story in your music, getting the full picture slowly by listening to it
the traumatized "antagonist" who's motives and backgrounds get revealed throughout the story and CRAP that's just Count Bleck from Super Paper Mario.
You're REALLY good with leitmotifs, I think any game or movie or show or anything of that sort would become very special if it scored by you!

like- the song manages to go from a wonderous feel to this sense of loss, which only grows to all-out mourning by the end

This makes me think of a time traveler who has friends in every era of time, but over the course of their lives stops getting visited by them, until the end of their lives, when they see them again and realize just how painful their end is, and how hard their friend worked to prevent it.
That the reason they're in pain is because they knew them, their fates were intertwined from the moment it started and well past their individual ends. They can remember the good times with a perspective that taints them, shifts it into something new and unfamiliar. Not bad or good, just different in a scary way.
And while every friend thinks that they're a tragedy, the traveler mourns them all. Having to make their lives great and their sacrifices greater, to keep the timeline moving to the one where they are born.

It’s enchanting, filled with a rich sense of bittersweet remorse. Something that was, still remembered.
This makes me think of the story of a farm boy who is living life’s ups and downs, and then the transition at 2:00 and after makes me think of a villlain watching him, until the farm boy faces the villain, they fight and eventually near the end the farm boy helps the villain, who’s just a lost guy, find himself and they both go their separate ways and keep living their lives as we see a flash forward of their happy lives.

flex is doing a pretty good job too, the guitar patches leave a little to be desired for a lot of things but for this style it works really well.
if you want a better guitar library though, i'd suggest looking into Ample Guitar M Lite. it's free and sounds really good!
