    The point was pointeyer when they first came out. I broke that pair and now its a rounded point. Im a electrician and cut 12AWG all day. I can't operate my business without these cutter's. They're a must have!!!! 5 star

      What do you primarily use them for?

    I have been using these at work for over a year now, specifically for zip ties and they do awesome perfect cut still going strong. Someday I will get the Snap On but I think I paid 30 bucks and well worth it. The pointed profile makes it very nice to get in and cut tie wraps around wires that we use on harnesses.

      Hey thanks for the feedback. Yeah and when on sale, you can get it less than $30. Thanks for watching! 👍

      @@projectpinehillsif you find pliers you like but the hinge is a hair tight... Use a toothpaste with abrasive particleS like silica. Squeeze and rub it into the joint . And cycle it. and rinse it completely and move it under the water to get every bit off. Then oil them so they don't rust. I much prefer a little too snug vs a little too loose.

    I paid 15 $ for mine only a fool would pay 80 $ for a set of side cuts

      I agree. Especially for something designed to cut soft material. Thanks for watching! 👍

      Good point, I don t need flush cutters bad enough to justify the price.

      I drove through 7 states and a couple dozen HF stores over last summer trying to find them. They all get 2 pairs each delivery. So if you're not there on delivery day, you're out of luck.

    Knipex isn’t much different price range. And way better quality

      I think I know what you are referring to, what is the part number?

    • @littlejackalo5326
      @littlejackalo5326 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Knipex does not have a comparable pair. They have a lightweight pair of 5" fish cutters (76 81 125), and some smaller ones, and some side cutters. But none of these heavy duty, pointed tip, thick handled ones.

    Nice. Got these for $20 with a recent coupon. Would not buy them for $30 or $40 as there’s better option out there for that price.

      That’s the way to buy them! Thanks for watching!

    Any recommendations for piano wire?

    • @projectpinehills
      @projectpinehills  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think piano wire is hard right? Would need something rated ACSR or Knipex COBOLT cutters. Thanks for watching!

    How did you ReSharper your flush cuts? I tried and failed on my last pair of kleins

      Slowly, using a bastard file and a vise. Thanks for watching!
