How to add Pro vocal delay and echo in Cakewalk by Bandlab

Here is a simple guide to adding the delay / echo effects to vocal tracks in Cakewalk by Bandlab. unlike some fx that get added directly to vocal track, like EQ, delay / echo fx should be added by using a delay bus... and in this video I will show you how to create a delay bus, how to send the vocals to the delay bus, and even how to work like a pro and only add the delay / echo to a few chosen words of your song.

Why is delay bringing up the volume of my vocal ?

Basically because delay adds one or more copies of your vocals (with each copy delayed). The same way that duplicating your vocal track will increase the volume of the vocals. The dry knob in the delay fx is the volume of the original vocals and the wet knob is the volume the copy of the vocals (the delayed version).
