So glad to find this site. I have been trying to learn via books and obviously I need a lecture situation to absorb the knowledge. Thank you for describing in a way I can understand.
You're quite welcome. Yes, I think oftentimes, lecture is underrated. There's a reason it developed as a pedagogical technique and stayed around for so long
Thank you for your response. I am studying intro to Philosophy in the UK and will certainly be looking up some of your other lectures. I come from a Psychology and Spiritual background and so it is interesting to get another perspective on things.
Wow. Watch something else then, if you don't like the "consumerist constructs" I use to connect the material to my student's lives. Have you got anything to say that's relevant to discussing Thomas's text? No? Then don't post here. Find another video to troll on
Define "good job". Since when has a mortgage made you happy?. I love the way that cultural in this case consumerist constructs are weaved into the lecture. 'Well paying job' might be better. ..but then better study law, medicine, etc lol

Im writing a paper on Aquinas 82 and 83 for an upper level undergrad class. You dont seem to cover much of 83? Any other materials on that?
Nope -- just this at present. I'm sure you'll do all right. The text is pretty straightforward
