Howdy Brock! I love the smell of sawdust in the morning. And the afternoon. And the evening. And at night! 😁 Good to see the mill fired up again. Thanks for sharing 🤠
Good Morning..
Seems like that would be a fun money maker during the fall /winter when other things slow down.
Good Morning Brock. Happy friday!
Hey Brock you need to get a 4 inch floor scraper for peeling the bark off of your logs. I’ve used one for years chainsaw milling.
Thanks for the tip
I want a T-shirt that says, "Saw the Pith Out of It!"
A suggestion for your trailer hitch lock, since the tongue is bolted to the frame: Tack weld the nuts to the bolts so someone can't simply unbolt the tongue and slap their own on there.
Good idea
A battery operated grinder and that lock is off in seconds. If they want it, they'll take it. I've seen them hauled off without a hitch. If you've lived in the city , you'll see and hear just about every way something can be stolen.
@@LIFEISHARDSTUPIDYou'll never stop them, you can only make it more difficult and slow them down. Like any break-in, you have knob jigglers and someone who will cut through the side of the house with a chainsaw. A grinder is also noisier and more obvious than someone swapping a tongue.
I've lived in Detroit so I've seen a lot of things used. They use sawzall to steal catalytic convertor off cars and trucks. That ain't noisy
👍😂👍 they do it at night and in broad daylight. Thieves don't care.
So after using the Woodland mill on the trailer do you like it? What would you like to be changed on it?
The is a good idea, how ever the bolts that hold the coupler would be easy to remove an bolt another one on an drive away. The fix weld the nuts to the bolt...
Mr B c if u can lock the 2 chains at the same time when u lock the ball hitch. I was told the trailer can still b stolen with just the safety chains.
Good point
I think those weigh safe hich is worth every penny then get 15% off that. That's a good idea with the bords underneath the Jack's
Thanks
I have not run a saw mill but as a mechanical engineer would think it better to use 3in thick ROUNDS instead of off cuts of planking because the plank is MORE likely to split than a round
Maybe try it and see
Good luck from John in UK
I'm jealous of you, I'm in the Texas panhandle, trees here are imaginary
The Lazer would have been a time saver
Complain all ya want but remember I am mostly deaf. Thanks for the sawdust therapy.
BTW Kevin did that.
I wish you would tell us what kind of wood you're cutting Brock , files are cheap, ( Do a chain sharpening segment )
Have a great weekend !
pc
Thanks for the feedback. 90% of the time it is oak. This video was oak.
Take the wheels off that'd be a major deterrent.
👍

That lock will only keep a Honest person Honest . They are not very hard to get off . The only reason I know that is I have had to take a few off that I lost keys to .
Brock, your videos would be more interesting if you would give more attention to the details of the job. Such as operating a chainsaw with a dull chain. Chainsaw files are cheap and it makes your work look more professional.
Doesn’t sound very authentic to only do work when everything is perfectly aligned. I don’t think that’s how things work for most people.
I mentioned in the video that I don’t own a sharpener for those little saws that I don’t use very often. I essentially put it out there as a criticism to myself for not being more prepared.
That’s being real and honest about the situation not trying to stage everything perfectly for the video
I put it in the back of my mind pick one up for next time but I’m not going to stop what I’m doing and drive to the store to get a sharpener before making that one cut
I don’t see the way, Safe discount code
I forgot to post that. Thanks for the reminder.

Did you sell the wooden stand for the saw mill
No, I still have it. I’m asking $300.
