You may know this.... I had a pump not working, spinned it up as you did and ran fine, but once shut down would not restart. Turned out to not be a pump jam, but the starter capacitor was faulty. Cost me 6 quid to replace capacitor instead of the whole pump.
the capacitor starts the pump. Sometimes its just the cap. You can measure them easily on Microfahrad I believe? I work mainy living corporations so it's just swap the pump. But for a house owner to save costs I would check the cap. But yea different case here haha. Wet pumps don't like to be turned off to long lmao.
@@willemgijs3803 I've heard of changing the capacitor but never tried it myself. Are they different rated ones for different pumps or is there a generic one?
I've been told X400 is good if you're leaving it in for a week or so, X800 is meant to be faster acting so best to use a day or 2 before. But I don't have any evidence to back that up 🤣
Thanks for watching! Please don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE 🙏🏾

@@cputilitysolutions mostly genereric. But it's on the cap. Like 4.7uF I believe are most haha.
I mean all Info is written on the cap. But I believe most boilers use 4.5 micro farad capacitors.
Congrats on the 8 k
Thanks!
