The Main boiler brings back some memories…at BG we would replace everything, seals, burner, gaskets, flue seals…even the air box if they was under contract 😢😅. On The HIU mate I could feel your disappointment! Hopefully get to the bottom of it 👊👍
That leaking inside the boiler is a heat exchanger leaking wet side not the dry ( Co ) side , very common on those boilers mate , also boiler could have been kept on as plenty have historic signs on leakage but stop on there own . But the boiler needed replacing anyway.
I dropped my 3 to primary school everyday and it means a lot to your kids to not put them before work 👍🏼👊🏼 was a bit tricky getting 3 on the 2 seat passenger side and wrap the seat belt over🤦🏼♂️😂
Know it may sound like I'm trying to teach you how to suck eggs here but have you ruled out the iso valve? Had a few fail on Elson HIU's, which made me feel a right tit after I'd already changed a couple parts.
Not at all mate, sometimes it's the simplest things that catch us out. So the reason I know it's something within the unit itself is because when I turn that blending valve to all the way cold, the water pressure comes out perfect, but as soon as I wind it back to hot the pressure diminishes. That's why I thought it might be the blending valve, but it's gotta be that PM valve now. There's nothing else left between the cold in and hot outlet 🤔
@@cputilitysolutions Is there a strainer valve on this HIU? And if so have you cleaned it out? Know they can wreak havoc on both flow and temperature in combi HIU's lad. Some days you wonder you ended up in such an easy job and others you're up at night in cold sweats 😂
@@TARSoda there wasn't a strainer on the domestic circuit on this one, only on the primaries. But yeah it was getting to that point, but luckily the customer was on my side and he said he only wants me to deal with it so that took the pressure off a bit

Hi bud top work as always had this on and it turned to be the pressure differential valve there's a diaphragm that fails inside it 👍 😊
