1991 on a 1/2 day fishing cruise boat, 1st time saltwater fishing. I caught the biggest fish on the boat. It was a grouper. I had grabbed my dad's pocket knife and cut off a grunts head i had caught. Stuck it on my hook, 4 minutes later, bam! Up came my grouper. I won the boats kitty for the biggest fish. I'll never forget the look on my dad's face. He's 95 now.
Happy for you both on finally taking a well deserved day off to go fishing. Too bad you weren't able to take any home but that gives you a reason to go out again.
Well, you did have lots of action, for sure! Next time the big ones will be yours:))) My hubby always changes hooks and rings on new lures, having had miserable experience with original ones!
Hi Tiffany and Andrew glad you got out for some fishing. Lots out there but too small that sucks. It looks like you come close a few times. Maybe the next time. Take care. ❤️❤️. 🌞🇨🇦
Your videos from previous years inspired me to try trolling… Typically I put up the boat and deer hunt all winter. But today was my first time to troll south of St Marks. 3 keepers and maybe a dozen shorts. Great day on the water.
Saw the boat in the background next to the well a video or two ago and was hoping you and Tiffany got out on the water or was going . Great video I enjoyed the boat ride along .
Wow you all caught a lot of grouper. To bad they were mostly shorts . That split ring problem really sucked. Might want to just replace the ring with a new ss one you can put on yourself.
HI enjoy your videos found them under Steinhatchee fishing. We come down to Steinhatchee or Keaton Beach in spring and fall and flats fish never grouper.Under comments saw look for dark spots in 25 ft.range.Any other good advice in what to look for not to far out as our boat is 19 ft. and I have inherited a few Stretch 25 and other large billed lures. Thanks😁
Search local reefs, but those usually don't produce grouper. Most importantly with a smaller boat, always check the weather. Safety should be priority #1.
Exactly what I thought was gonna happen you keep taking it out of gear to early and you need to use a barrel swivel between wire and split ring. Grouper trolling 101.
Horrible logic, I can literally go back another day and load the boat. Fish don't always bite when you want them to. I've been diving in those spots and seen an unreal amount of grouper in such a small area.

Great memories on the water.
They always say, "A bad day of fishing is always better than a good day at work". Great video
Sure is
Thanks for taking an old man fishing I thought it was a fantastic day as well as I look out my front window at frozen snow covered lake Thanks Again
Thank you for watching
Would love to get a video breakdown on the boat. That would be amazing!

Exactly!
Nice you two took the time to go fishing. Sorry you did get to keep any grouper.
That's the way it goes, still enjoyed it.

I'm going to start doing that.
Hi, Andrew and Tiffany! Thanks for the boat ride. I enjoyed it. See you tomorrow night!
Thank you for watching

Awesome! Tis the season for trolling. What depths did you find them in?
@@TKOutdoors 32-38 ft. Pulling manns 25s. Couple on red/white. The rest were on chartreuse and blue
They were hitting my red and white good until we broke the last one off.

Yes sir, we finally got out there.
That water seems a little rough. I would have been feeding the fishes if I was on your boat. I love the wake shots. It is really pretty.
Lol we take it well
Looks like fun. Lots of action.
It was fun!

I definitely am, the eye split rings are tiny on these lures.
Wow
Yep!
Nice time on the water
Yes it was!
Trolling salmon and musky here we use oval split rings so they do not stress the metal as hard or let the fish work the bait off of it
These lures have really thick rings for the hooks, pitiful ones where you attach the line 🤷🤷🤷
Try replacing the split rings with Owner split rings. I have never had one of theirs open up on me.
I'm definitely changing them.

Looks like the bigger ones ate later in the day, that's why it's called fishing 👍
Yep, you never know.
How fast you trolling for them
3.5-4.2 mph
@@TKOutdoors thank you Andrew for taking the time. Hope you and tiff have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I didn't take the class at it apparently wasn't available at my local school. 🙄
Y’all go out of Keaton?
Yes we did
@@TKOutdoors thank you! Always wanted to try trolling for them. What is your other account?
@The Kelley's Country Life
Now we know why they are cutting back days to fish
