Until it's Return is the most slept on weapon in the game imo. Overflow/cascade point is amazing and is a legendary 4th Horseman that holds 16 in the mag. Cascade Point is EXTREMLY easy to proc on special weapons as well. Try it out, it's the best pve pellet shotty for non 1 2 punch builds.
Just want to put it out there that Until It’s Return, the strand shotgun from Deep, can roll enhanced auto loading cascade point for the kinetic slot - which is fantastic for melting down champions or big enemies if you use a close range build or have strong survivability
I adore that gun. It also gets overflow which while I find it less useful than enhanced ALH, shooting 12-13 cascade point shots during testing was just really funny. Worth noting that cascade point does not last the entire overflow mag so you can't dump everything all at once. ALH is way more consistent. I'm sure there are situations where the overflow could be useful but eh both skip the reload animation so who really cares lol. Highly recommend getting one for anyone looking for a goofy pve shotty.
When I farmed ecthar until its return alongside acrius was goated with overflow and cascade point. I'd dump the Until bullets into the boss asap and then spend the rest of the time shoot-reloading Acrius until I notice i've overflowed the Until again @@axloverhead
Same. Hasn't left my inventory since I crafted one. Who needs heavy if you can just dump 18 rounds from this straight into the boss's face at Mach 5. It's BEAUTIFUL.
Don’t forget to grab the old season artifacts so you can get engrams from previous seasons. I often get 2 or 3 different seasonal engrams after completing an activity.
Here is a tip for the more experimental build crafters among you: Raconteur is one of only two bows (and the only one in the kinetic slot), that can roll with the combination of Shoot to Loot and Explosive Head. Due to the aoe and delay from explosive head, this will automatically pick up any orbs created from kills with this weapon, making it an excellent pairing with things like reaper, siphon mods, or fragments like echo of harvest or thread of wisdom. This works really well with briarbinds for example, as orbs are very important for that build, and both reaper and echo of harvest put in a lot of work. The delayed explosion also helps with the chog placement being more consistent.
@@dtps_champion6016 This is true, but explosive payload functions slightly differently than explosive head. It explodes instantly upon impact with the target, whereas explosive head has a slight delay, which is what enables this combo to work. There are several weapons that have explosive payload + shoot to loot, but only 2 (raconteur being one of them) bows with the explosive head + shoot to loot combination.
Wanted to leave a thank-you here as a returning player. Been away for 4 years (Feb 2020) so I've been extremely lost in what's available / what's bad what's good in replacing my old gear. Summaries like this are invaluable in a community that's filled to the brim with now-outdated bleeding-edge guides / resources but sorely missing updated counterparts for old-but-present content that the old guides may no longer apply to. So thanks!
I have a question, also returning player, all these craft-able weapons in the video. Will they disappear and the ability to craft them when the new season drops?
@@andrewhance8153From what I understand, the ability to craft in general and the "recipes" you have already unlocked will stay, but the ability to acquire the SEASONAL weapons' recipes seems to be going away when all the seasonal 'vendors' are removed. (The war table, Spirit of Riven etc.) So he's recommending grabbing the recipes for things that are generally good (Scatter Signal, The Eremite, etc.) or may not have comparable counterparts in the future (Appetence) that you won't be able to acquire in the future, unlike the raid weapons which will be around in some form (apparently)
@@andrewhance8153 If you are still looking for this answer, the seasonal weapons on the top row are craftable, while the reprised weapons on the bottom row are not. This if for all seasons, hope this helps
Just wanted to mention Abyss Defiant as an honorable mention here. If you use a Solar Melee focused build (of which there are MANY in the game currently), the origin trait on this weapon along with Incandescent makes it a beast for those builds. I've also been using Briar's Contempt very much recently (only cuz I'm tired of using Cataclysmic for everything), and while I tried Surrounded, I didn't really end up liking it due to how niche and potentially dangerous the perk can be to proc. So I instead went with Rewind Rounds and High-Impact Reserves so that I can use it in more general play.
Don't forget you NEED legendary shards to master work armor and weapons until they go away in the Final Shape. Please don't be that guy like half the content creators who came out with guides on how to "Use all your shards FAST before they are DELETED!" @@happystate2480 I mean, yes on the FOMO bit, but no need to be that aggressive! Especially when I for one haven't been able to dump legendary shards faster than I've been shredding useless drops to get more, which I'm sure I'm not the only one in that boat. Glimmer is functionally free this season
I completely agree. Mine has 15k on it now, and it's amazing. I was skeptical at first, (I never really liked hand cannons in pve) but it performs so well with a gyrfalcons build. On top of all that, word of crota can make enemies explode in four different ways - (dragonfly/volatile/cursed thrall/ Echo of expulsion) I guess that's enough ranting about my favorite void gun lol.
Was surprised to see "Quicksilver at home (Rufus's Fury)" wasn't on the list for RoN, that thing is incredible when Im using my exotic slot on a rocket launcher.
@@donkyquonck7509 because of how the stasis scout rifle is earned, I can see 'deep dives' being made part of the 'exotic mission' rotator list, that adds that seasonal set of weapons to the 'permanantly available' list, then you have the new starcrossed mission currently available this season which will likely have the entire S23 weapon suite added to it to make those permanently available, the only issue is that the s21 weapons don't have an exotic mission they could be tied to and the seasonal activity isn't good enough on its own to be added to the pool like deep dives is, so that's the only set that I would argue should be obtained first if you're going for completion.
@@rogoth01themasterwizard11 Wouldn't be shocked if Wicked Implement goes to the kiosk rather than Bungie dealing with the headache that would be reworking Deep Dive to only have the exotic mission part available.
Honestly I think Abyss Defiant is a pretty fun weapon from the Crota raid. Subsistance and incandescent combos well and with the origin perk if you punch a dude out before you start blasting the thrall explosions also make affected enemies explode burst into fire as well, spreading it even further. Also just feels nice to fire imo. I know people don't really like the archetype but I think it's a useful energy slot auto rifle.
@@austinrader8135as long as you have witch keys you can farm red borders from the legend spire, they will drop every time you open the chest. Which, imo legend is pretty fun and not as hard as other legend activities for whatever reason. Witch weapons are probly the easiest ones to get because of that.
Bequest is also raid locked and arc. These are easy to get options in a different element. Personally I've hit way more damage using Throne Cleaver on Crota than I have with Bequest and damage supers but that can be chalked up to user error @@Freebie6
It’s a toss-up between Imperial and Fractethyst in terms of pvp viability imo, but just due to availability I’d have to agree with you. Good luck getting a decent Frac these days
@@izackattackxi7522 It is when it's available in Dares of Eternity, which it currently is. Albeit you'll have to be very lucky to get the weapon and a good roll.
I'd add: Appetence can roll demo and wellspring or demo and headstone. Super fun for stasis double special build :) Also Until it's Return can get overflow cascade point, which is incredibly fun and does a good deal of burst damage as long as you're willing to get close. But other folks have pointed out the latter :D
TIPS FOR NEW PLAYERS who need good armor: if you can, focus armor ONLY at the Season of the Deep kiosk. I've done a bit of testing at the various different kiosks, and for some reason, Season of the Deep's armor seems to roll with the highest stat totals and highest stat spikes. The Season of the Wish armor is by far with the worst, with very low stat totals and poor stat distribution. Season of the Witch might be viable too but I don't remember, I usually forget it's even there. Remember to slap an armor mod on your ghost. The stats are distributed into two sections. If you have a spike in the top three stats (mob, res, rec) then the second largest spike will be in the bottom three (dis, int, str). Resilience is always your number one priority followed by discipline, and mobility ONLY if you're a hunter. Strength _can_ be good for titans, if your build focuses heavily on melee. If you put on an armor mod for, let's say resilience, it will guarantee a high spike in res and then you have a 1/3 shot of getting another spike in discipline. Armor mods have NO EFFECT on random armor drops, or opening random engrams at Rahool. The only time it works at Rahool is if you're focusing specific exotic armor, which is pretty costly. Oh and if you need exotic armor, DO NOT bother with legend lost sectors if you struggle with them. You're better off just running the Vex Incursion Zone public event on Neomuna. The Asher Mir twitter bot sends out 5 minute alerts when it's up, and they have a discord bot that can alert you as well. The event typically pops up every 4 to 5 hours.
idk about that, I focused all my armor at the start of this season at riven for increased reputation, I basically got free double 100's with all around great stats, every single piece (in a row btw) was between 67-70 so not bad.
Testing on rng drops as about as conclusive as throwing a dart at a dart board to predict the weather. You could have just gotten lucky/unlucky and I highly doubt x season has better stat distributions then others
@@prodbyairscrew Lucky you, I spent a ton of engrams at Riven and they were all garbage. My best pieces are all from Defiance and Deep. Witch and Wish focused rolls were all terrible for me which is annoying as I'm still trying to get 67+ with appropriate spikes.
Don't sleep on Supremacy from Last Wish. That thing is an absolute beast with rewind rounds and enhanced kinetic tremors, my absolute favorite special in the kinetic slot.
@@Risinqq Specially since Loaded Question pretty much overtakes Techeun Force as the top-tier Arc fusion rifle. Honestly, the only bad thing about Supremacy is that it's ugly as sin and shades terribly lol.
Prodigal Return can roll with disorienting grenade & voltshot. Go for max reload/handling (I opt for reloading mostly) It pulls double duty but requires landing direct hits or manually detonating the grenade midair/after bounce for max effect.
Yeah like many people are saying Until Its Return is slept on. A must have for boss dps situations where you're using acrius and need another shotty to go alongside it.
Imperial Decree actually suprised me I had initially thought it was strictly a pvp shotgun but in the pve world threat detector/trench barrel is slept on. Such a handy tool to have in your back pocket, pairs up nicely with my solar titan because with roaring flames active 3 regular punches apply enough scorch to ignite a target. It's a wonderful brainless combo running around with radiant, restoration and trench active at all times
Lethophobia is a good weapon for gyrfalcon hunters paired with repulsor and explosive head, cause explosive had will ignite the volatile after its proc and the explosive head can proc volatile as well
1000% percent @@kcmfwingshot I prefer it with enhanced impulse amplifier shopping with disorienting. Got quite some wild hate mail during the first IB
My takes as a PVP player- In order of priority 1. Imperial decree. It’s probably top 3 legendary PvP shotguns in the game, definitely the best kinetic slot legendary shotgun that is still attainable. 2. Kept Confidence. It slaps. It’s got great stats. It’s a dueling monster with killing wind/QuickDraw in column 3 and EOTS in column 4. 3. Scalar Potential. It’s oversoul edict with a better (imo) origin trait and better model. 4. Lethophobia. It’s got disruption break. Hilarity ensues. 5. Rapacious Appetite. It’s the discount immortal, it’s a very good substitute if you didn’t go flawless on immortal weekend or RNGesus never blessed you. 6. Prodigal return- also has disruption break if the gl life chose you.
I would argue Explosive Personality is a better disruption break weapon than either cited here, the pattern for which is obtainable when Vox Obscura is the exotic mission in the rotator. Wave frames are just super consistent for that. Great for annoying everyone by pairing it with Rat King. Likewise Austringer is a good alternative to Kept Confidence, obtainable from Presage, and Ikelos SMG is probably better than Rapacious Appetite, from Operation: Seraph Shield. None of these are in the video since they're presumably not going away in TFS, though. Definitely agreed about Imperial Decree. It's so good.
@@life-destiny1196yeah, like the video I was just using guns from Lightfall’s release year. Austringer is spectacular, and my favorite craftable 140. Wave frames really don’t do it for me, they are very easily countered by geometry and jumping, but EP is definitely great as well.
For f2p player, you can get red border defiance weapon on the blind well if you completed the heroic version of it, but only one per week and per character, it used to drop pretty usually on the beginning of the season but after multiple patches, i think it's a pretty good balance
Something I will say is I think Subjunctives roll might be Subsistence and Tricorn or Swash The origin trait is about having you not reload, subsistence would also be about not reloading, which to me makes Voltshot not seem like the play
Subjunctive with Subsistence into Attrition Orbs prints orbs in low-level content, it's great. You'd probably want OFA or Tricorn in hard content, though. Can also do Shoot to Loot/Attrition Orbs for the meme.
I have to agree here. Ikelos does Voltshot better. Enchanted Subsistence + auto reload origin trait is what makes Subjunctive unique. I paired it with Enhanced One for All. Unfortunately, the recoil is ass, even at 100 recoil direction, thanks to Bungie's stupid "deterministic recoil" nonsense. It pulls badly to the left, and there's nothing you can do to fix it.
Just a reminder: You don't have to actually do Last Wish at all, you can wish yourself to 2 free chests that drop loot regardless if you've done the raid or not. Other raids that have a chest in the first encounter (Deep Stone Crypt and Vow of the Disciple, namely) you can do the same thing after acquiring the weapon at least once from actually doing the raid.
Every time someone says "Good luck farming Nox Perennial" I count myself lucky as an envious, controlled, burst charge time masterwork just dropped into my lap during Season 22. No enhanced battery, but it's a world drop so I look at it not having enhanced battery is the cost of not stressing over or needing to farm for it.
Adhorative with healclip and incandescent is actually pretty good. Yes pulses need another pve buff imo but if you need a solar pulse for an endgame pve activity for whatever reason I've found it to be surprisingly good. Enhanced healclip can save your life though it only gives around 50% health, but sometimes that's enough to save you.
The key is that it synergizes with Ember of Benevolence, which juices the hell out of your Healing grenade recharge as long as you're reloading near teammates. That's what makes Heal Clip good.
Brya's Love is the only void weapon with shoot to loot and explosive payload. craftable too. the last craftable weapon with this combo was the season 18 scout Tarnished Mettle.
season of the deep: strand sword as it is the only one of its kind in existence and pairs amazingly with stronghold strand immortal object titan, that's really the only 'must have' I would argue from those weapon sets.
@@FunDadHubby equip stronghold, banner of war, into the fray, whatever fragments, harmonic siphon and co, block to live forever (from what's in front of you) and when you have a few safe moments swing once with light and go back to blocking, which will give you regen from stronghold and healing from banner. With a chain reaction/tireless blade roll you can swing for free with enough targets, or even net ammo. Viable even in GMs, though it's way more skill testing to find a moment to not instantly die. Really helpful for tanking the Lightblade and Mars Kelgorath. Takes your heavy slot for a melee though, so it's strike specific.
@@FunDadHubby you make use of the banner of war/into the fray aspects, can swap out into the fray for drengrs lash if you wanna go heavy CC instead, and then for fragments you run thread of warding/thread of transmutation for their innate combination with each other, thread of generation because you can use windows when you're not tanking damage to deal dmg to get your grenade back faster (and with a sword/heavy weapon I think you get more grenade energy back), and with shackle grenade you can have more suspend going on for CC, the final fragment is a personal choice you can go with thread of fury since you're making tangles for more melee energy to make use of your melee charges more often, or you can go with thread of wisdom for more tangle generation for more overall damage. the exotic of choice is the stronghold gauntlets, and with the changes made to swords last season, as long as you don't get interrupted you can tank anything in the game while guarding and you can guard indefinitely, so you can stand there taking all the fire from a shrieker in GM's for instance while your team does all the dmg and kills them safely, same with ogre eye blasts, you stand there and tank them while they are fixated on you your team kills them at range safely etc, that's the gameplay, you sacrifice your own damage output on bosses etc for unmatched damage mitigation while guarding and as long as your team get kills nearby to keep banner of war stacks up, you are literally unkillable in PVE while guarding.

Problem when you are an endgame monster and you already have weapons; the reason you aren’t seeing them is because the people you are playing with play it safe and won’t try anything new until it’s hands down proven better otherwise they “aren’t worth grinding for” Happy New Years Datto
prodigal return is busted for arc (countermass | spike grenades | lead from gold | volt shot) basically never runs outta ammo and a MASSIVE stream of ionic traces, it feels like an exotic when you get rolling with it while leaving room for an exotic, also to add got the night fall adept one, farmed it out and got a fantastic one, it just feels like a weaker but more beginner friendly version of prodigal return.
If you grab the past seasonal artifacts from each part of the Helm, you will passively collect engrams from all previous seasons while youre doing current content. Then you can just go back and spam them for whatever you want
I'd add the supremacy from last wish to that list. I've been running rewind / fourth times / kinetic tremors depending on the situation but it has great ammo capacity and sustained damage if you can land crits.
You want rewind rounds and forth times for supremacy. Allows you to dump your entire ammo reserves without reloading. Kinetic tremors is not worth it at all
@@JA-kr1lzvery debatable, KT is a significant increase in DPS vs sustained damage and most bosses in the game don’t last long enough to full ammo dump your sniper reserves. Also pairs great with rewind rounds since both require sustained damage but not Crits specifically so there’s forgiveness if you miss a shot here and there, works better against majors so it gains utility in both boss DPS and on the go scenarios (GMs dungeons etc). Both are great options but I don’t think it’s as clear cut as you’re making it out to be
I'm expecting Bungie is gonna add more crafted weapons in whatever we're getting in April, maybe February, but most likely the April update. I know Datto is not hot on legendary bows, but I have been absolutely loving Raconteur this year. I go Elastic String / Compact Arrow Shaft / Enhanced Surplus / Enhanced Headstone / Draw Time MW, and it's incredible. Headshots feel particularly easy with bows, and it's so satisfying to keep popping Headstone over and over, then shattering crystals all over the playing field. I highly recommend it.
@@diontes1480 keep an eye on Gutshot Straight in the event of bow bodyshot damage getting nerfed in PVP. Much like how Gutshot Whistler's Whim is a consistent way to make a lightweight bow that double body kills, if a bow nerf comes through (which it will) and Raconteur ends up doing under 100 damage but more than 83.333 damage to the body, Gutshot Straight will push its body damage over 100 and enable it to double body despite that nerf. Right now I don't recommend it because precision bows can double body anyway so it's kind of a waste, and in PVE if you're running a Stasis bow it's probably for Headstone, but it could be good in the future.
Maybe ive been out of the meta too long but supercluster seems insane, vorpal plus recon is just good in almost any boss scenario thats somewhat close range
If you dont like the smg playstyle with the pvp one for a headstone demo roll, the season 20 stasis bow is great. Use it all the time, and gets the job done. Its working best now because of the artifact mods too, so it's extra fun. But even without it the utility of it is great.
I didn't spend a single engram these seasons and got all the patterns from focusing them.... and then I had JUST ENOUGH materials to get them all leveled up and enhanced. All my luck has run out.
Do NOT pass over supremacy from last wish. With rewind/bait and switch it has more DPS than xenophage. With Kinetic Tremors, you have one of the most consistent snipers for GMs/swap rocket builds. Opening shot/Snapshot is insane for pvp. Its a perfect sniper
If you are like me and like bows in PvP, I do recommend Lethophobia as a support weapon to a kinetic hand cannon (personally using Lumina rn) as it can roll with Disruption Break and either Steady Hands or Impulse Amplifier. I'm more of a fan of using bows as a main weapon tho but we have Exotic Bows for that.

Get close to an enemy, swap to it, dump 8 odd rounds into somethings face, let it reload, lather, rinse, repeat. It's discount Fourth Horseman, to put it bluntly. Shame to see it so slept on.
Datto, Until its Return is currently the best major killing shotgun being a sidegrade to Heritage. Until has better burst but trades ammo effiecince as you are using cascade point on it. Its actually really strong and I know its not the people you are tageting but even speedrunners are using it over heritage right now.
Kept Confidence with SFA and Pugilist (kills give melee energy) is a great legendary to pair with BoW strand titán since you want Tractor Cannon which means you can’t use Quicksilver. Also, Regnant with Envious and Cascade Point is a good roll for Malfeasance/Lucky Pants hunters.

with the reckoning ornament and a trials memento it also becomes one of the best looking weapons in the entire game
Don’t forget to grab the old season artifacts so you can get engrams from previous seasons. I often get 2 or 3 different seasonal engrams after completing an activity.
How do I get the artifact to obtain eremite?
Here is a tip for the more experimental build crafters among you: Raconteur is one of only two bows (and the only one in the kinetic slot), that can roll with the combination of Shoot to Loot and Explosive Head. Due to the aoe and delay from explosive head, this will automatically pick up any orbs created from kills with this weapon, making it an excellent pairing with things like reaper, siphon mods, or fragments like echo of harvest or thread of wisdom.
This works really well with briarbinds for example, as orbs are very important for that build, and both reaper and echo of harvest put in a lot of work. The delayed explosion also helps with the chog placement being more consistent.
bryas love gets this combo too - explosive payload and stl
(The war table, Spirit of Riven etc.)
So he's recommending grabbing the recipes for things that are generally good (Scatter Signal, The Eremite, etc.) or may not have comparable counterparts in the future (Appetence) that you won't be able to acquire in the future, unlike the raid weapons which will be around in some form (apparently)

Word of Crota is also a very solid choice (on consoles at least) to grind the pattern for. It pairs incredibly well with a Gyrfalcon's Hunter build.
Not seasonal, so it will still be available next year
@@gabemerritt3139 He mentioned a few raid weapons...figured I'd toss another one in
I completely agree.
180 hand cannons feel so bad tho 😔
Was surprised to see "Quicksilver at home (Rufus's Fury)" wasn't on the list for RoN, that thing is incredible when Im using my exotic slot on a rocket launcher.
I believe it’s because these weapons won’t be farmable when the final shape releases (unless they’re put in the exotic mission rotator)

Keep in mind, there is no weekly red border weapon from Season of the Witch :(

Caretaker and the Titan exclusive sword both can get surrounded. Definitely worth getting imo
Bequest is just better than both of those

I'd add: Appetence can roll demo and wellspring or demo and headstone. Super fun for stasis double special build :) Also Until it's Return can get overflow cascade point, which is incredibly fun and does a good deal of burst damage as long as you're willing to get close. But other folks have pointed out the latter :D
Thank you - I'm glad I lucked out on a bunch of the 21 and 22 patterns, mostly got 'em all. Working on 23, glad to have some focus.
From what I focused on witch armor they aren’t that bad not to deeps levels but they’re up there
Testing on rng drops as about as conclusive as throwing a dart at a dart board to predict the weather. You could have just gotten lucky/unlucky and I highly doubt x season has better stat distributions then others
New players 😂😂😂😂
@@prodbyairscrew Lucky you, I spent a ton of engrams at Riven and they were all garbage. My best pieces are all from Defiance and Deep. Witch and Wish focused rolls were all terrible for me which is annoying as I'm still trying to get 67+ with appropriate spikes.
Don't sleep on Supremacy from Last Wish. That thing is an absolute beast with rewind rounds and enhanced kinetic tremors, my absolute favorite special in the kinetic slot.
Being a rapid fire frame with rewind and kinetic tremors is kinda crazy, I would definitely put it over the fusion for must haves.

Datto doesn’t know about the fifth horseman build
Imperial Decree actually suprised me I had initially thought it was strictly a pvp shotgun but in the pve world threat detector/trench barrel is slept on.
Such a handy tool to have in your back pocket, pairs up nicely with my solar titan because with roaring flames active 3 regular punches apply enough scorch to ignite a target. It's a wonderful brainless combo running around with radiant, restoration and trench active at all times
Thank you for making this video now instead of right before the final shape
Lethophobia is a good weapon for gyrfalcon hunters paired with repulsor and explosive head, cause explosive had will ignite the volatile after its proc and the explosive head can proc volatile as well

1000% percent @@kcmfwingshot I prefer it with enhanced impulse amplifier shopping with disorienting. Got quite some wild hate mail during the first IB
My takes as a PVP player-
In order of priority

Datto with a casual "Carl from ATHF" reference. Love it.
Something I will say is I think Subjunctives roll might be Subsistence and Tricorn or Swash
The origin trait is about having you not reload, subsistence would also be about not reloading, which to me makes Voltshot not seem like the play
Would love to know more on this build, man.
@@ForOhFor I messed with this build in S21 (before Banner of War!), only I ran Counterattack/Valiant Charge on the sword since I knew I was going to be guarding a bunch anyway. It works basically as advertised provided you can maintain ammo. I did eventually just bite the bullet and switch to Lament, but if you want to use an exotic in another slot or if you just want a Strand sword in general, Thin Precipice is the play.
Even Master Crota basically can't kill you through sword guard (unless you position badly and take physics damage against a wall, which I learned the hard way a few times).

For some reason Word of Crota, the 180 hand cannon, stole my heart. Chunking down orange bars to trigger Sword Logic and then melting everything around me with Dragonfly just felt satisfying.
Lol, the aqua teen hunger force reference takes me back.
Problem when you are an endgame monster and you already have weapons; the reason you aren’t seeing them is because the people you are playing with play it safe and won’t try anything new until it’s hands down proven better otherwise they “aren’t worth grinding for”
Happy New Years Datto
A taken memento would be so sick!!
The 120 HC from Deep is pretty good gun. I use well rounded and destabilizing rounds for my gyrfalcon build and have a great time using it in raids.
prodigal return is busted for arc (countermass | spike grenades | lead from gold | volt shot) basically never runs outta ammo and a MASSIVE stream of ionic traces, it feels like an exotic when you get rolling with it while leaving room for an exotic, also to add got the night fall adept one, farmed it out and got a fantastic one, it just feels like a weaker but more beginner friendly version of prodigal return.
I’d say that for some void builds, a Word of Crota with Destabilizing Rounds and Repulsor Brace is an under looked monster.
why use word of crota when you can get a good weapon archetype?
Prodigal return with disorienting envious and disruption break is pretty fun with lucky pants and noble deeds pairs so well with lumina
The Just In Case sword is great for Strand, Titan builds. Get a one-two punch shotguns and grapple. Makes a good extra combo hit.

All of my engrams go to the side weapons that we can't craft and I've yet to get the roles I've been chasing for.
Death's Razor, the class sword for the Warlock from S20 is amazing. I put enhanced destabilizing and thresh, it's fantastic in enemy dense stuff. Couple spin to wins in groups of ads and you get your super really quick and clears mobs quickly
I really wanted to be able to craft the spare rations as it was one of my favorite hand cannons. It still has 150 stats and can’t really compete with 140s for range and stability, but I love it nonetheless
Gold tusk, the hunter class sword is excellent. My favorite sword in the game. For crota i use gold tusk, 4th horseman, and i have my riptide for wizard freezing and i top damage almost every time. plus fun running animation and bonus mobility.

Try it w Gutshot Straight. Its great both in PvE and Pvp!
Due to the length of this season, I hope bungie will find a way to get us some more deep sight harmonizers to aid in the crafting.
I really want to craft Koraxis's Distress. And Crux Termination, for the same reason. Envious and surrounded for short DPS phases is fun.
Maybe ive been out of the meta too long but supercluster seems insane, vorpal plus recon is just good in almost any boss scenario thats somewhat close range
vorpal is no longer meta, so you're right about the 1st part
Heritage is just better in every way so unless you don’t have that there’s no real reason to go for supercluster
Finally I have opinions on these weapons
Adhortative can role Heal Clip and Incandescent. Personally im loving it so far.
Shuro chest every week, has provided me with my craft-able apex predator. Without having to even do a single last wish run. Very worth the random drop. Hop in hop out.
ok I was about to make a case for Until it's return...but then I seen a few others doing the same. Almost brings a tear to my eye, lol.
TLDR: for those that don't know. Auto Loading/Cascade turns this rapid fire shotty into "we have 4th horseman at home". In your kinetic slot no less. This thing absolutely FEASTS when you have cascade active.
Arrowhead Brake on Scatter Signal trust 👌 Will make proc’ing Controlled Burst more consistent
Supercluster can roll reconstruction and cascade point. Something that could be quite useful.
Just to say that goldtusk is a really good sword for boss dps on hunter. Just get it with relentless strikes & whirlwind blade and you are set
Appetence is the only stasis trase rifle (besides ager sepetr). The ability to craft the gun makes it much better.
last year they made the weekly red border rewards into a daily thing near the end of the season. Wonder if they'll do that again this year
Adhorative is decent as a pulse for the heal clip incandescent roll, lethioptera or however the hell you spell it is the only bow in the game that can roll disruption break which is extremely useful in pvp

I just want to ad that the trace is a must have it isn't just the only craftable stasis trace its the only non exotic kinetic slot trace rifle that exists outside of trials if you like trace rifles ignore content creators and craft away
Goldtusk is the best sword in the game if you're on hunter, save for bequest. It outdamages lament *slightly*, and it doesnt take your exotic slot!
With the nerfs to kickstart mods, I crafted an Optative with Demolitionist and Wellspring. Have a grenade up on void with devour every 4-5 kills.
And yes, i dont have a word of crota.
Semiotician has a fucking amazing roll in field prep and bipod. It’s my go to heavy for endgame content. High recommend. Massive recommend. It’s like a better cold comfort if you can learn to crouch to reload
Not better than cold comfort. Semiotician deals 10% less damage cause of its bad frame
still two shots champs @@warv6552
Could even go as far as putting on Threat Detector paired with Voltshot for Subjunctive. Active as soon as you’re within radius of at least one enemy and the bonuses are about the same compared to Stats For All
I know he glossed over the Deep weapons, but I really like Until It's Return. I've got Auto-Loading and Cascade Point on mine, and it's just way to fun and good for burst damage.
Supercluster with reconstruction and vorpal is what I use, but lately I’ve been running Nox perineal with envious assassin and controlled burst.
I highly recommend going for a crafted Scatter Signal, as I’m sure you’ve heard- it outclasses Nox in the DPS department. Hope this helps.
