Really nice video, great style. Kudos for no gloves and spot on music choice. Its right chilly up here in NW Ireland these days too, but if you get conditions like that, you gotta get on it. Subscribed.
It does feel nice to use purely wave energy to travel from one wave to another. Yeah definitely want to be carefull not altering pitch and mast height too much in-between 🤜🤛
awesome carves. how much do you pump back out versus arm paddle back out? Do you just link a few waves then paddle all the way back out, or are you pumping all the way back each time?
Thanks! That depends on what front wing I'm using and the conditions. If I have a larger higher aspect on I might average 10 minute runs linking waves. On a smaller shred front wing like I'm using there linking I probably average 3 link ups maybe 2 or 3 minutes riding. Rest of the time it's paddling and letting the legs recover 😊
@@apricotscrub if I had to put a number on it I'd say atleast 25% harder to pump in full 5mm compared to short leg 2mm due to a combination of carrying the extra weight of a wet thick suit and the slight increase of restricted movement
Your shredding!
Looks so fun 🤩
The waves are back! Great to see the local looking good again! Looking forward to the next youtube installment mate 🤙 carves looking fantastic!
Thanks mate appreciate it. It's felt like a long winter so far eh!

Beautiful surfing!
Thankyou ☺️
Well that was very enjoyable to watch.
Thanks for watching! 😀
Foils are proper stoke machines love it seen you at porth a few times 🤙👍
They sure are the best way to put a smile on the dial 😀
You make the pump out look effortless.
❤☺️
Offshore wind makes the pump outs easier! Sick lines, love those tight top turns!
Il take the wind assist when on small foils😂 thanks mate!
Oooh arrrr bit chilly init 🥶
Need a cuppa after
I love your style
😀 thanks appreciate it 🍻
How nice is that last no glide connection turn. Seems like you got to be so precise on the line

@@tomoearl how much reduction in pumping efficiency when you have to wear the wetsuit?

Do you still surf after being so proficient on the foil?
I still love surfing but don't seem to do it much any more, foiling just feels better!
