Great info. All my friends are getting the gen2, its been a game changers for all of them. No line up/crowd issues, no downwind paddle in issues. My friends were triple dippers, now they are now stop in the waves till their legs or lungs give out. Mine is on order, gotta wait 2 months unless someone cancels. Got my fingers crossed.
Thanks! I am using an 830 mast and the motor pod is set at 20cm. Iv tried both lengths and I'd say if ur planing on doing much foiling under motor 20cm is the go. If u want to use it just to assist catching a wave 15cm. 830 is fine as a minimum but I want to try 930 or longer to gain back more usable mast length for riding better waves
I tend to use the max power battery the most it seems the more you use the system you end up getting used to the weight and and opt for maximum run time without having to get out and switch however the max sport battery has a noticeably nicer feel and I do use it a fair amount

Oh yeah, in some ways it's like discovering foiling again, expands the playground even more so
Excellent review. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm saving money for one. Cheers.
I have mine on order, eta March - can't wait. By the way, your content is great and super inspiring to people like me who are learning this sport.
Epic, your going to love it. The more you use it the more you get out of it and the better it gets. Cheers mate
Nice work Thomas
Cheers PB
Great content, What length mast are you using/ recommend ? Iam guessing you use the 15 cm cable?

Have you tried the max sport battery vs the max bigger battery and if so which. One you prefere

Nice! Did you use 2 blade or 3 blade prop?
I used the 3 blade prop here. Iv had a go with both, the 2 blade feels smoother but the 3 blade definitely has more push to get u on foil
Any problems with the connectivity issues with the remote some are talking about with carbon boards?
If u fill ur tracks with the foam I have perfect signal
Ok I want one now !!!!
It gets better the more you use it aswell. Overdue another clip
Looks siiick!!
So much fun!
looks and sounds great.... 5K tho! Fakkkkkkk
Expensive but after having it for a week now I can definitely say the opportunities and fun it allows is worth every penny
buying 3 different boards, 3 wings per year. Vs 5k FD 1 board sounds about the same.
Why so expensive
All I can say is after using it for a further month since this I can confirm its worth it
