yeah they are but id get nexus or kontakt first. omnisphere is really dope too has live ass choirs and acoustic guitars dope pads and synths too. sylenth1 is good for modulation and creating sounds. if u lookin for presets id go with nexus, kontakt and omnisphere. u can get komplete 9 which comes with kontakt and other great vst's all in one for like $500
