Don't forget, Harrisburg, PA's, Dan Hartman is Edgar's bass player. Dan Hartman wrote and sang their other hit song, FREE RIDE. Dan Hartman later went solo and wrote and sang the 1978 disco hit, INSTANT REPLAY and in 1984 wrote and sang, I CAN DREAM ABOUT YOU. Great Stuff, used to have this album.
This song, the great playing of a slung keyboard right up front with the leads who typically stole the show, and the sweet drum solo in it really got me into wanting to learn to play musical instruments.
Hearing, seeing this, and digging this as a young kid in the 70s it was also my first introduction to Albinism as Edgar had it. I don't even know if you can say 'Albino' anymore, but his lack of skin pigment and pink eyes really threw me for a loop as a youngster but was also a great lesson of understanding and acceptance shared with me from my awesome, all loving Mom.

Met Edgar and Johnny (separately) back in the early 1970s. Eyes were unique; not really pink, but a mixture of different shades of blue. What the brothers lacked in melanin, they made up for in talent. Both amazing musicians!

Saw Edgar Winter Group on tour for They Only Come Out At Night. I wasn't old enough for a learner's permit yet as I was in the eighth grade. Same band except the guitarist was Ronnie Montrose instead of Rick Derringer. They killed it. I sort of thought I was going to see his last band which was White Trash, but they just killed it so I was sold.

Edgar and his brother are Albino. They couldn't go outside, the sun would damage their skin. Being stuck indoors, they started learning instruments as a children and became masterful musicians. You only see Edgar in this one on the keytar, sax and drums.
