I want you to know just how much I appreciate these dreamboat projects. It's something I'm contemplating doing myself and these videos are very encouraging. Thanks.
This Dale fellow is someone I would love to commission to do work on a boat of mine. His passion and pursuit of perfection are a treat to watch. Freakin' guy almost made me tear up when he was confessing his anxiety before tackling the faux wood job. Of course, he nailed it!
Love that Prowler, not full of crap, lots of deck room, storage and shelter up front in the bow, half tower and windshield keeps the worst elements away. It's basically a boat swiss army knife. Perfect.
That's Impressive work for someone who has never done that before with the faux wood. I saw an episode in the past when a professional woman artist did the dash on a large boat and have to say that her work was no better than this. I would hate to have to pay what it costs in time to get this done though. Fantastic looking.
We had original knotty pine paneling in our den at home that my wife wanted to paint. After seeing Dan’s talent, we did a faux wood pattern instead. It looks like fake real fake wood now.
Use a light film of dielectric grease on fuel filter (diesel/gasoline) oring surfaces/barbs/threads, etc. It’s inert and won’t hurt the rubber or fuel system internals (also great for coolant orings on Diesel engines, etc). It also works well on the threads.

Seriously!!! That faux Teak looks amazing!!! I am a woodworker that works with teak occasionally and I can attest that it looks like the real thing.

That wood paint was absolutely phenomenal. Prowler was a cool boat!

Looks amazing Dale, awesome job!
Wow! Dale knocked that faux effect out of the park! Absolutely amazing
Agreed. If an 20h engine service took four episodes, faux wood on the entire skiff will take a couple seasons :p. Killer job tho
@@macshop69 HAHAHAHA so true!!

Best wood grain job I have ever seen.
The Prowler bow design reminds me of an Albury Brothers boat - Nice.

He's checking the filter for "debreez" lmao
What’s going on with the series have not seen a new episode last couple weeks. Guide doesn’t show any upcoming episodes
Just a break in the middle of the season, expect to see more in due time!
100k paint job
Better not drop a sinker on that hatch!!!
Marine grease?

All by that time on one hatch cover for faking a piece of wood.
