I can see why they took it out since they were going for the movie version where she just completely snaps. Rather than seeing her every thought process and rationalizing/processing what she’s doing
Her vocal technique is amazing. And trust off west end to have the best effects. Once they pull the roof down it looks like Chris isn’t attached anymore but she falls so softly idk how they did it but that was cool. I only which they’d hung Billy like in other versions

They’re still in the song, except they’re just played as sound effects clips for some reason. The actor mic’s just didn’t pick them up but they are present in other audios of this scene
it’s kind of quiet but the parts at the beginning like “mama, you should have told me” are actually whispered by the ensemble. the ensemble whispers a lot in this production, like in the interrogation scenes they whisper sue’s name.

also i know this doesn’t matter all that much but the way the camera follows the rafters at 2:50 while they fall is SO AMAZING THIS SET IS SO GOOD
