Thank you for this video. The image that I used was created in Affinity, so I just began following your steps from there. However, when I reach the last step, where you say press delete on the image (which I group all the pieces and background and then named as image), it deletes the image completely. Will you help me please? Thanks!
Hello thank you but something goes wrong when I do the delete at the last step. Please help. After I turn off the frame layer I select the picture layer and press delete? Everything disappears .
GREAT VIDEO, a good advice will be, next tutorials will be great, to add the sources links to where we can get the files been used to follow the tutorial. that will be a great way to learn and a better experience
@@aliciawilson4357 open and place a image, then click on the magic wand , go to select then inverse, make sure it selects the subject the way you want it and then click refine edge a window pops up then click open as raster mask.
It does work, make sure you open the image and not place the image. If I place my image it also disappeared. But not if I open the photo
Exactly! First I tried with placing my image and it not work. So first there need to open image in Affinity Designer not place in image.

I think you missed the shade selection step 1:28, and don't forget to select frame layer first.

Where did you get the frames
Where do you find the frames?
Hi ,,, Just tried it and it came out great,,, thank you for posting,,, did you create your own frame for this?
No, I did not make this frame. It was a "how to do" question from someone specifically with her own frame.
Thank You!
You're welcome!
THAT DOES NOT WORK! Ughhh its aggravating that last step when you say delete it deletes the photo.
Make sure to open the image and not place it
@@MelissaCloete-u2f got it to work thank you!

I tried each step over and over, it still deletes the image. I opened the image (not place).
