Hey dude, do you know if the TRX40 Taichi supports nVidia Quadro? I have a Quadro M4000 laying around... It works on the Creator but don't know if the Taichi supports it.
One of two boards (This and the Gigabyte Designare) that has slot arrangement to take 4 x double width GPU blowers, e.g. reference, which is why this is a great board for 3D Artists who GPU render. And of course with all those cores you can carry on working while it renders. The only negative I have heard is the 2.5G ethernet (not Intel) may not play well with Virtual Machines on Windows? Also, it does not have a Thunderbolt Header so will not work with a thunderbolt 3 add in card and if that is important then the more expensive Gigabyte Designare would be a better choice.
If I was asrock instead of supporting people toreview its product, spend the money to increase the quality of their bad products. I am using ASRock TRX40 Creator on linux and let me tell you something. dont try it....
What is your use case scenario? I am trying to figure out what is the best way to go for graphic-build. I want to configure solid setup for 3-5 years. I think I will go with 0ne video card or 2 asymmetrical (for example simple card for video output and preview and beefy one for compute purpose) And I am kinda stuck with choice between AM4 and TRX4. Do I really need quad-channel memory? A
Very professional approach, very clean presentation.
Great design by Asrock, they do have good designers on their team, solid motherboard as well.
