I was 16 when this came out, remember buying the 7 inch single in Woolworths South Shields, the things you remember, but I do, made that journey into town so often to buy records, trip to greggs for a cheese and onion pasty and an iced split and then home to blast out my purchases, happy days; it was probably a grim old time 1982, but when you’re young you just don’t notice, everything is cool as long as you have your mates, your records, and going out on a Friday night and having a laugh. Anyway, what a tune this was, a big cod phil Spector production by the great Mike hedges, when you put this one on the turn table you needed to turn it up loud!
One of the best songs of the 80s. My god I wished I could go back to these times. These were the best times
Amazing how a song can transport you back in time🥰
