And my cousin liked it soo much that my father gifted him my bike and I was shocked but then my father said he gonna buy me another motorcycle... Believe me or not I have ridden r15, Avenger 220 street, fzs v2.0, hornet but still they weren't worthy at all if compared to gixxer then without any excuse I buyed red and black colour gixxer.. With rear disc... Trust me guys I have this bike for more than 3 years this is amazing.... Acceleration,design handling, instrument console, grip while cornering, touring purpose, breaking, drag races this bike will serve you all...... So no doubt if you can relate with my comment... I personally think hornet would be the best of three. All three bikes have equal power figures. Will you bleed your bike for a 0-100kmph race?😂 I would happily watch them in a video like this😋 but trust me i wont do it to my bike😍 Though hornet is a head turner. And its a honda! it sure delivers for a lifetime i guess. Other reviews from powerdrift and autocar says hornet is more refined than gixxer even at top speed! Maybe motorbeam got it wrong there i guess.😊 Superb tyres and petal disc brakes in hornet is an advantage. You can definitely bet on them. Comparatively its far too tall geared than the other two bikes. Thats a convenience for both power riders as well as commuters. And dont forget guys, with Auto Headlamp On all the time it is always better to go with ac lighting which is in the hornet. Helps the battery. I think honda is the best choice with its service centres spread all over the country. As of 160ns you will have to figure out whether the refinement degrades with time because thats what all pulsars do 😂😁 parts shaking chain crying😁 if u plan to change your bike in 2 years go fot pulsars.😀 Gixxer is still a good bike though. A true alternative to hornet. And the choice is definitely with the buyers. Hornet will suit more highway cruising and gixxer the city riding. The rear set footpegs in gixxer will tire your hands in long journey. And the pillion seat is too high that the one sitting at back will feel shy for himself for its like sitting on top of the rider😂 And lookwise gixxer is not that good too. And thats why i said hornet is still a more practical option. Mileage figures said here are definitely not true. Hearing motorbeam say so definitely made me think about their genuineness. Hornet gives more than 45kmpl before first service and more than 50kmpl after that with usual riding.(definitely not rash driving) But still in the end Hornet looks like a much more premium bike than its value. And that alone could make you buy one. It looks like a bike of next segment than the other two. Think 😉
@@suvendusekhar5446using synthetic engine oil motul. Change it every 2500kms for better health of engine. Check for petrol stations which gives u better mileage(hindustan petroleum or indian oil or bharath petroleum) use any 1 of the petrol bunks constantly. Tight ur chain to correct level often, dont make it loose lube for atleast every 500kms, also dont forget to clean ur chain. Maintain tyre air pressures which will also helps us in getting good mileage. Maintain speed of your bike below 5500rpm ie 50 to 60km/hr u will surely get 50+kmpl.also after 10k kms please change ur spark plug. It really helps in increasing the mileage. The sad part with my bike is if i rev it to 70 to 90km/hr the mileage decreases for me. 30kmpl approx. Take care. Have a safe ride.
Are you kidding me!! Hornet stood last in millage..It should be on top.. Its been almost an year i am riding the same orange mate black that u rode and the millage is been 47-48 in city and around 51-52 on highways... Anyways good video!!

Hello everyone, first thanks to motor beam for this video, well talking about video is 4 months older, may be posted in August or September, but i own the ns 160 in July 17. Talking more about bike, after a test ride i just fell in love with ns riding, it was awesome engine sound response sitting position, enjoyed that ride, i choose beacuse of one reason that is engine refinements. Yes with guilt of rear small tyre. I took test ride of fz fi, hornet and ns same road Pune Mumbai highway, yes you are absolutely right ns engine refinements are better, noticable, it feels different in Pulsar family, but here i want to tell more. Today after 6 months engine is not good as it used to be, it making different kinds of noise that service guy can't understand even though vibration are raising. I use bike for daily commute 30-40 km per day never cross 80kmph done two service on time. The weird sound perticular 3k rpm, after 5-6k vibrations, lost all fun in ride, and one more it gives mileage of 40-45kmpl riding speed 50-60kmph at 5k rpm.
I am riding hornet for one and half year now, mileage is 43-55, depending on how I ride, even when ridden harsh it never gave below 43, and when ridden sedatetly got 55 ... Please don't make biased comments
I have a hornet and its rear seat is just shit. If you break hard while driving with a pillion your balls get crushed . THE ONLY FLAW IN MY BIKE. Rest assured you wont complain for power and mileage if you buy a hornet . BEST BIKE IN THESE 3.

I have the same black-green dual disc version of the Gixxer as shown here and I'm riding it since last year. The smoothness that it provides is unmatched. It's been more than 4000 kms that I haven't changed the engine oil, neither did I go to the service centre. So literally I'm riding it with zero maintenance. Yet no issues till now. So the people who are saying that the Motorbeam team is paid by Suzuki need to know that a bike's engine deserves a smooth treatment (no rapid acceleration, no rapid slowdown). It's a bike folks, not a railway diesel engine! Thanks to Suzuki.

In my opinion 150-160cc are commuter oriented and not at all power oriented. I am having P150 and the tyres it had are more than enough even in wet conditions and while cornering. The tyres given for P160 will be more than enough in my opinion coupled with perimeter frame. One have to ride to believe it. Oil cooler is an added advantage. The perimeter frame offers tremendous straight line stability even in higher speeds. When the bike ages its the comfort one will always complain about. P160 is winner here. In my opinion the winner is P160. Only lacking is rear disc brake and it had been better if they lowered rider and pillion seat and provided a single seat. Yes. Seats matter in this category bikes. Wider tyres are advantage only for a bike with adrenaline rush such as rtr200, fz25, p220 and NS. A rider with lot of experience on different bikes will understand what i am talking about. Hey remember karizma and r15 tyres(leave about hard ad soft compounds)..??

suzuki gixxer is a waste bike. engine piston's got damaged within 3 years of ownership with just 18000 km on the odo . rusting issues , engine oil leakage , tappet noise , hard gear shifts with pathetic after sales service and no parts availability
yes sir all services including paid one were all completed in suzuki authorized service centre only. last service was done on 17 feb at 15000 on the odo , at 18500 loud sounds started coming from engine. service center quoted a price of around 8000 inr and listed some 27 parts for replacement.according to them the engine got seized due to low engine oil. i did'nt got it repaired and ran for 3000 km in same condition and later sold for 24000 rs in first service they used some different engine oil , can that be a cause of piston damage ?? engine oil grade was 10w304t
bro that was during first service dated 9 nov 2014 and i already sold the bike . later service centre issued a new bill to me and took the original bill that stated 10w 30 stating it as computer mistake . according to them motul 10 w 40 was used officially.

Boss u r always making hornet at 3rd place in almost all categories. But its not that much bad.. To the hornet lovers, gixxer is tje one which comes far behind because my friend(a gixxer owner) keep on racing woth my hornet and far behind... But the negative of bad quality switch gear and engine kill switch is the only thing... Otherwise hornet is the top of this three in all categories...
I don't know why he chooses gixxer, for me pulsar ns160 has the best look, best mileage, even the brakes are pretty good although it lacks back disk and has small tyres size but believe me the brakes are good. And regarding initial acceleration, it actually depends on rider as all the three has same kind of engine but pulsar has more power than two of them. So for me pulsar ns160 is the best bike among three of them.
If u looking for 150-60cc , Gixxer nd RTR 160 4v are the best . But 200cc , ns200 pretty good for its price , RTR 200 is nice , but I feel ns is better

Hornet is the most practical bike.. im gettin milege of 55-60kmpl here it says 30 i dont know why... Hornet will gives u more stablity nd confidence than other two... Ns 200 is best than 160.. gixxxr its ok

Even in worst condition hornet gives you a mileage around 42 to 45 and it has a much refined engine than the Pulsar ns and Gixxer

I have the same black-green dual disc version of the Gixxer as shown here and I'm riding it since last year. The smoothness that it provides is unmatched. It's been more than 4000 kms that I haven't changed the engine oil, neither did I go to the service centre. So literally I'm riding it with zero maintenance. Yet no issues till now. So the people who are saying that the Motorbeam team is paid by Suzuki need to know that a bike's engine deserves a smooth treatment (no rapid acceleration, no rapid slowdown). It's a bike folks, not a railway diesel engine! Thanks to Suzuki.

In my opinion 150-160cc are commuter oriented and not at all power oriented. I am having P150 and the tyres it had are more than enough even in wet conditions and while cornering.
The tyres given for P160 will be more than enough in my opinion coupled with perimeter frame. One have to ride to believe it.
Oil cooler is an added advantage.
The perimeter frame offers tremendous straight line stability even in higher speeds.
When the bike ages its the comfort one will always complain about. P160 is winner here.

Only lacking is rear disc brake and it had been better if they lowered rider and pillion seat and provided a single seat.

Wider tyres are advantage only for a bike with adrenaline rush such as rtr200, fz25, p220 and NS.

suzuki gixxer is a waste bike. engine piston's got damaged within 3 years of ownership with just 18000 km on the odo . rusting issues , engine oil leakage , tappet noise , hard gear shifts with pathetic after sales service and no parts availability

yes sir all services including paid one were all completed in suzuki authorized service centre only.
last service was done on 17 feb at 15000 on the odo , at 18500 loud sounds started coming from engine.
service center quoted a price of around 8000 inr and listed some 27 parts for replacement.according to them the engine got seized due to low engine oil. i did'nt got it repaired and ran for 3000 km in same condition and later sold for 24000 rs
in first service they used some different engine oil , can that be a cause of piston damage ??
engine oil grade was 10w304t
yep,10w30 is not meant for gixxer,complain on consumer court
bro that was during first service dated 9 nov 2014 and i already sold the bike . later service centre issued a new bill to me and took the original bill that stated 10w 30 stating it as computer mistake . according to them motul 10 w 40 was used officially.

Boss u r always making hornet at 3rd place in almost all categories. But its not that much bad.. To the hornet lovers, gixxer is tje one which comes far behind because my friend(a gixxer owner) keep on racing woth my hornet and far behind... But the negative of bad quality switch gear and engine kill switch is the only thing... Otherwise hornet is the top of this three in all categories...

I don't know why he chooses gixxer, for me pulsar ns160 has the best look, best mileage, even the brakes are pretty good although it lacks back disk and has small tyres size but believe me the brakes are good. And regarding initial acceleration, it actually depends on rider as all the three has same kind of engine but pulsar has more power than two of them. So for me pulsar ns160 is the best bike among three of them.
