Had the Privelage to be the Audio tech for Juice WRLDS Death Race for love tour and work next to Max every show and randomly stumbled upon this... Looking good homie.. Great interview! 👍 -Nicky 5
Great guest. Became a big fan of this guy from his interview on producer grind podcast... I built a bunch of custom drum style templates for myself after his insight. SPEED IS EVERYTHING.
Dave when will you have Serban Ganea on your show? The guy is master mixer and a ghost it seems. You're the only one with a platform big enough to attract him, please do your thing! I love your show.
”I’ve never seen anything like him. I don’t know if I even will again, and its something I’m just eternally grateful I was able to be around for and when I was. And thankfully to be able to see it or feel it early on to just drop everything I was doing to make sure I could be with him”
It would be really cool if you could get Carlton mcdowell on here, he worked a lot with juice too, super super young and is working with amazing ppl like skrillex now!! thanks for everything you guys do!
hmm. I just couldn't get with pro tools. I had to stick with Ableton for mixing and production. What is the difference is processing quality bewteen pro tools and Ableton live 10?
there is no actual difference sonically between the daws, if u used all the same plugins on a mix with all the same settings and rendered out they would be exactly the same. the main reason they teach it is because every studio uses it, and if your going to be an engineer u probably want to be in the same ecosystem so u can get projects more easily . the only real difference between daws is workflow, but there isnt something u cant do in any daw
Protools is just a another DAW like any other DAW. You can littery use any DAW as your choice now that most DAWs are cross platform compatible with each other esp Protools. I can littery load Protools sessions in Studio One and verse vica. Oak Felder doesn't use a Recording Engineer neither do I. Oak Felder cut Demi Lovatos vocals entirety in Logic. He produced the entire Sorry Not Sorry song in Logic.
Let me get an interview for my channel I got hella questions about how/why so ppl have so many of his sessions. Ppl send me links to his sessions like every other week
These producerwith this kinda artist they dont really bring too much at the table, the only thing u need is to be a junky and being able to speak fast, “music” its pretty simple and nothing special lyrics are soo generic and written by too many people, its sad how something as magic as music is a business here on earth at the level of gettin advantages of somebody’s death. but there are good music its just not in the mainstream industry
Huge fan of Max and all his work with Juice. Great guest!
