Properly there are more diesels on the road, but only a few years ago the British government were encouraging the buying of said diesel (yes i brought one) and then back tracked and fucked us poor fuckers into selling our cars at half the price and some. But still love that sound of the beefed up defender.

Tom has been very careful not to do that, due to appearing in car shows that are being held regularly. He talks about this in one of his latest videos.
@@checkyourself164 running 70+ psi boost fuel and thousands spent on it. I have nothing to prove to anyone I'm a working class person and when I pay 50 odd pounds to enter a show I want to make it to the shows.
And wide open pulls won't allow you to get there? You arent making much sense. If its in a state of tune where you're "worried" to do a full WOT pulls, why not run less boost and be able to use it?
Sounds good. Do you use it for working or expedition? Can tell a load of work gone into it. Have you sorted the wheel alignment since this video was done? Or adjusted the drag link anyway to centre the steering wheel?
I always lean towards a 12v cuza the sound but when I hear a 24v I think no it's gotta be a 24v they sound amazing, what made you go for a 24v instead of 12v
@@lukesmith8792 started life 10 years ago as a 6bt. Ve then tried a 210hp p7100. Then struck lucky on a 2008 common rail. So I built my own engine using a b block and the 2008 cr head running the p7100. Knower days she's compound turbo and charge cooled. Just a progressing project but I'm very happy how it is now. Driving stedy it will do 25 to 30mpg. If your on fb or instergram search C510GVU loads of videos and pictures.

What makes this so cool is the fact it looks like a little harmless Landrover Defender. But it sounds and acts like a huge heavy goods Juggernaught.
