Nice video. Brought back happy memories from when I had geese (Toulouse) many years ago. The only complaint is that my hearing isn't what it used to be and the music over whelmed the speaking and I couldn't make out a lot of what you said. Enjoy
I was curious to ask if its safe to give geese grass clippings...? And up to how many days old for the clippings also? You'd definitely not do this with other animals, especially horses. but it comes up sometimes for other animals.
We give grass clippings to all of our poultry, in small amounts and we make sure the pieces are small. The laying chicks don't seem to want much to do with the grass until the are fully feathered but the geese, turkeys and meat birds seem to be more interested at an earlier age for sure. We gave never had an issue with the grass clippings. The geese looked forward to their grass treats.
Beautiful birds, autsexing (males and females are different colors) is a big plus, but I've read that they have low fertility rate (about 50% vs 80% for Embdens or Toulouse). Did your geese have this issue? Thank you.
My Geese are so wonderful. Love them beyond words
Each one has their own personality. Ours are sitting on a large nest now and the eggs should be due to hatch in a week or so.

She hatched out 4 of 6 eggs in her clutch, which isn't bad, especially since it was her 1st ever clutch.
Lower or eliminate music. I cannot hear a word you are saying?
Thank you for sharing feedback. I am new and learning the process and want to improve, so feedback is welcome. Thank you again.
So you sell your baby pilgrim geese. We can’t find them anywhere in SC. I am from Brockport NY
❤😊
Couldn't hear you 😞
I apologize, I will edit the video to decrease the music volume. Thank you
Great video but I would have rather have listened to the birds or what you are saying instead of the music. Good luck with your farm!
