When the person asked about tattoos, I think that second part was just tied to that, as in, tattoos are a form of fashion that you can’t alter as you get older. That’s how I interpreted it, anyway. Great video sir! I know I’ve kind of busted your chops a time or two about sponsors, but this gave me more empathy for why you do what you do. I’m grateful that you get to earn a living making videos that help other people. Keep up the good work
Been watching your videos and updating my wardrobe over the past year or so. Buying properly fitting, well-made clothing, and having them tailored, etc. I actually got dressed up for a night out with friends (not fancy, just nice enough for anywhere we may have ended up), and had 2 women, at seperate times, complement me on how I looked that day. So, thank you for all your advice!!
Next time when your down the street for a cigar...grab an Oliva Melanio V box pressed maduro...pair it with your favorite spirit and let me know what you think. Its amazing...or with a coffee
New subscriber here from NJ. 54 and absolutely enjoy watching your videos. Ive always enjoyed looking stylish and found myself lost in the current styles for men like us. Since watching your videos- it has pushed me to change my look...slimmer fitting jeans and shirts, better shoes and sneakers. Thanks so much and keep up the great work!
Guess I just missed your live Q & A on Insta .. your style advice is always on point, thanks. I'm a little older than you and still working to be stylish and relevant, there's a long way to go!
I absolutely enjoy the videos. Unfortunately, I've had to take my father to look into getting hernia surgery very recently. It's been quite stressful, but I think it will make him a new person once he recovers from it. Also, I've finally found a fit that feels great for jeans for myself. I am looking into getting some new chinos or actual dress pants for work just in case I have to dress up for the bosses. Otherwise, all is well.
John love your stuff. I tried an experiment the other day. Wore a blazer over nice dark jeans to work. Blue button up shirt, mono-chromed with the blazer. Wanted to see what happened. got at least a 1/2 dozen comments from men and women throughout the day. All from your advice!! All the Best Jon
Enjoyed this one John! 2:16 about still feeling young, to be fair, you are probably much younger on the inside than people who were in their 50s back in the '70s. I feel like we have much healthier lives today - people are more aware of what they eat, of exercising, and smoking is nowhere near as popular. So you probably really are younger than thise people you remember, even if you are close in age.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ John, I wish you the very best in the adventure of your Wine, I will stay tune in order to know when they are available. Stay Safe & Healthy... Abrazos
Bourbon Suggestions: Old Forester, Elijah Craig, Knob Creek. These are good for beginners. For those wanting something more interesting, Wild Turkey Rare Breed and Jack Daniels Barrell Select. Rye Suggestions: All the ones above have Rye versions that are also outstanding.
Hi, man, you might be surprised by somebody enjoying your videos from Kazakhstan (the former Soviet Union, now Central Asia)... still, I am 43, you are 55... you know - it is so relative. My grandfather born in 1918, went through that disastrous "Soviet-Finalnd War", then through WWII, then became a prosecutor during Stalin and Krhuschev era - died 46 in 1964, looking as a very old man. My another grandfather born in 1902, was always contra-soviet, was in jail for this, suffered and then died in 1950 at his age of 48 looking just young and "slim and fit" by modern standards. I am not so sure to what extent the genetics influences this, yet I am quite slim and I always follow your videos with getting some ideas for myself (although your ideas are not always practical in our local climate and environment) - imagine, how wierd this would be for both of my grandfathers! Anyways, I get a lot of ideas from your videos and - please continue to do so. I hope I will come to California in a year or two to taste your wine.

You're older than me by one month! Well done for embracing your age with both style and aplomb. Looking good.
Yes! Thank you!

I was 70 yesterday and never felt better. No carbs, lots of meat, intermittent fasting. Failure? Lots of wine!
Happy birthday!
On your wine, do you plan to ship overseas?
At this point, I can’t do anything international. Maybe at some point in the future.
55????? Stop this nonsense!!!! You look better than many guys in their early 40s! Keep up whatever you are doing John!
Thank you very much!

Why did you have the tattoo?
When I retired from racing, I got the tattoo.
