Thank you very much. The first time I saw kiwi, I knew he was the one I wanted. He's so sweet. Dash is a bit feisty but hopefully she will calm down in time. Thanks again for watching. 😊🐦😊
Oh wow, that is so cool. Kiwi learned most of his words from watching other videos too. I hope to have some more videos soon. If you have any videos of your birdie, please let me know so I can watch and support your channel. Thanks again for watching! 😊🐦
She's saying "what are you doing kiwi ". She repeats almost everything the green one (kiwi) says. I'm trying to teach them both new words but we all know it takes time and there's no telling when they will pick up the words. They just do.....sometimes! Thanks for watching! 😊🐦
Hi i have an indian ringneck thats not had the best of life so far. The guy i got him from kept him in poor conditions and im not sure what hes done but the poor thing is terrified wont even let me stand up without him having a full freak out. hes 6 months old or so the guy told me he looks like he may be a little older. His name is ricky and i was wondering how you got yours to be so tame? Ive taken into consideration having his wings clipped but i really dont want to do that as i love seeing him fly around free. Its just becoming a danger as when he freaks out he flys into the window or sometimes the walls. Is there any tips you could recommend?
I am so sorry to hear that your birdie is having a difficult time. I can only imagine how frightened he must be having come from those conditions. One thing I know for sure is that Ringnecks are very loving and friendly birds and they require a lot of attention. The first thing I would suggest is to try to build trust with little Ricky. It takes time but it can be done. What I did with Dash (my violet Ringneck)is Starr with treats. She used to bite me but I would slowly introduce her to sunflower seeds without the shell of course and she would start to trust me when I would reach for her to "step up ". I would take my hand away and give her a seed and then repeat. Eventually, she saw that is was a good thing and began to trust me. She's still a work in progress but she's a whole lot better. Hopefully soon I will be able to record how I interact with them to give you an idea of how I train them. I don't have the equipment at this time but hopefully soon. Right now it's just me and my phone camera. Anyway, I hope this helps. Have a great day and thanks for watching. 😊
Dash is 5 years old now and definitely a female. She is very aggressive with kiwi and she only lets him get so close until she tries to bite him. She can be so sweet and mean at the same time. Poor kiwi.
Thank you so much! I got kiwi from a reputable bird shop in Woodland Hills and Dash, the blue one, was a gift. They are indeed very adorable birds and excellent talkers. A bit loud at times but adorable all the same. Thank you for watching!🐦
Oh ok... Thank you for the info... I’m in Chicago and the pet stores here don’t carry birds like yours , only parakeets.... Oh yes I understand the loudness, I use to have several birds and boy could they be loud.... Lol
Thank you so much! Kiwi is 8 years old and Dash is 4 years old. Dash is around Kiwi so much that she has started to mimic everything Kiwi says. I sure hope the both wilm will learn other words really soon. Do you have any videos of your little birdie?
Soooo cute!! I've been looking to get a young Ringneck. I used to have one that was just starting to talk and he was stolen. I'm a disabled senior and can't afford a whole lot. So if there is anyone out there that has some babies I would really love to get one thank you.
I can help you in this matter since i am an Indian. If any Indian living around you ask him and he will try his best. We indians are very friendy and promt to help. So catch an Indian this is the best way. Make post on face book any social media that u r looking for an Indian ring nack parrot. We had one when i was around 15 but after several month when i realized that i am doing wrong by captivating a bird i could not resist my self to free it. One day i freed it and i was a happiest person with tears in my eyes. I thank god for intuition
@@chauhanrajput4733 Wow, you're a crazy psycho! Never "free" captive birds. They don't have the natural instincts to find food, avoid predators and disease. You're a horrible person and because of you, your bird died.
