J T I assume you deleted your previous comment as it was wrong. As for their rings Fabio’s became defined around 2.5/3 years old and Gabriel’s started to come in when he 3 but was fully in when he turned 4. Which the species can take up to 4 years for the ring to develop. 😊

Fabio is 16 months so 1.5 years old. It can take up to four years for the rings to come in (that's rare but it happens). He has an amazing personality everyone including his breeder has said he was born to be big he was just made to be a star haha. But Fabio slightly has his ring starting to come in. ☺️

Pupil dilation is normal for some species like the Indian Ringneck, the motion for some birds can be an aggressive sign or for some its loving or playful, it depends not the individual bird but they do control it themselves. :)
I also had a pair of ringnecks, they also did pupil in and out thing They were really funny, they used to sleep on another, like one bird slept above the other lol

yes I have had all my birds since babies. Patience and bonding is key to friendliness and some are just more moody than others like with any species. Talking I find is an individual birds personality comes into play for that, some love to talk some juts like to make sounds. You can play videos of other ringneck talking, playing, showering, etc. Reward good behaviour and ignore bad behaviour.
The green one pretty smart even said his brother's name a few times at 2 minutes and 20 seconds of this video he said taking forever. I'm surprised the African Grey wasn't talk to you because they are very talkative Birds
andre s. All my birds talk except my yellow sided conure. I just don’t force them to speak I let them do it on their on time and will. Just like they choose what they say I don’t teach them the words they say, they listen to me, tv, the radio etc and pick up what they like to say. 😊
