- So with learning that the Indiana Pacers have lost their ability to extend Myles Turner. I thought we would talk about the past, present and future of Myles Turner and who I think the Pacers will trade for if they can't bring Myles Turner back.

Hindsight is 20/20. But as it stands just one year later, Pacers would have been better off have drafting Lively instead of Walker.
Wed have been better of taking Trace too. He's exactly what the Pacers need.
Rick wants a tyson chandler type of center. Like he had with the mavs when they won. A lob threat and rebounder who plays defense

i have a crazy idea... i would DEFINITELY watch a pacers 2k rebuild. i dont even care about gameplay but just roster management and contracts and stuff

Well be lucky to get what we got for Buddy for Myles unless a trade is made this summer. He's a rental and the rest of the league knows without Tyrese he's a 12 and 5 guy

There is no big that can replace Myles unless you get an upgrade like Anthony Davis. They will give him 3/100 mill next summer almost guaranteed

Pascal called out Myles as the guy he always wanted to play with.
Hard to see us upgrading our center for anything near his cost.

Myles Turner thinks that he is a SF/PF, he's always hovering around the 3pt. Line in offense and defense, doesn't grab rebounds or helps on defense... he had a great year last year but that doesn't make up for the other years...we need a strong center that can get rebounds. I've heard Myles say "that's not my man" every time someone scores in the paint on his mic. He's a good guy and he means well but he has no fight. I would be sad if he goes, but I know that it's necessary. Great content per usual FastBreakReport 🔥 🔥

Good point....I feel Pacers aren't going anywhere with him & this have been his best year,so trade him while his stock is uP Ayton stock have dropped somewhat & Turners have went uP,so now it's an even trade.
Idk about Pacers FO trying to “get rid of him” I think Indy loves Myles from a fanbase and front office POV. However, I do agree that if you want a championship you can’t have Myles as your starting center. I’m sure he expects a pay raise on his next contract anyway.
If they end up winning a championship in the next 2-3 years I'll give them all the props but I think they rushed this rebuild because they were desperate for another "star" and now they have to scramble to become legit championship contenders before Siakam's prime is over in a few seasons
Ayton is garbage, way worse than turner, and that aint sayin much.

Turner is a top 5-6 center in the league. Just look up the statistics. Losing Turner will not make this team better. The replacement probably won't be a top 20 center. I still think missing out on Ayton was a blessing in disguise. However, you can't keep everyone which is understood. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
@@bigoledaddyz he’s not top 5…Embiid, Jokic, Bam Adebayo, Sabonis, Rudy Gobert, Anthony Davis, Alperen Sengun, Porzingis even an Argument can be made Wembanyama played better than him as a rookie.
any further talk about getting Ayton now is a complete NO and a joke / terrible idea... IF they can't get Myles back, which they should have a temperature by now, he can totally walk for nothing as an UFA. he's 29 and in his prime and he's a top 10 center imo and his numbers have him at least top 15 by true position. He ain't Wemby or Joker or Embiid, but he's A tier, maybe 2 tiers out of 5 below the top.. Nembhard is a true 1. I'm sorry to dissapoint, but it's a fact. He's the same size as Haliburton and if they both don't learn to play off ball with each other, packaging Myles and Nembhard to aquire a Cam Johnson or Alperen Sengun, I'd even consider Tari Eason and Sengun if we throw draft picks too. Myles is from Texas, it would be a possibly amicable scenario and the Rockets are proving to be moving towards a faster rebuild and looking to compete this season. If they go with Jalen Green, Sengun becomes dispensible and Myles would be atractive to pair with Green, Jabari, FVV and give or take Amen / Whitmore / Sheppard / Tate / Lockdale / Griffin / Brooks / Steven Adams. Sengun would fit like a damn glove into our running style with amazing pick and roll pass potential, Sengun is 21 btw and nearly a star. His game will only improve. Athree Way deal could get us a legit third star if Minnesota decides to move either Naz Reid or KAT, call me crazy.. If Miami shits the bed again... go after Bam.. if Memphis can't wrangle it together, does JJJ ask out?.. If Wiseman somehow figures out he's the former #1 pick, that's the best case scenario, because an asset that contributes opens more possibilities. Ayton"s ethic and style are not it. He's like Ewing, he does not have that dog.

@@fastbreakreport Great conversation.. I think you're wrong, given the theoretical of "later in the seaon" not to mention those teams have large financial decisions to make. Cam Johnson has already been tied to us. Sorry if you don't like these players, but thought the idea was discussing hypothetical situations for Myles, who we can't extend, don't have birds and risk losing. he's a top 15 big, there's value.

Personally, I do believe we could be a better team given a better defensive center. I like Myles, a lot. But we can find a guy, to play defense and be a 4 and 5. Personally I think Oscar could be great for us. Maybe IJAX or Wiseman will show some thing we can work with. We will have to do something next year... Myles could bring us something. But he could stay as well....I don't know ..lol
