Would love to have him but idk what the Rockets would want for him. I'd be shocked if they were willing to trade him. But since drafting Cam Whitmore and signing Dillon Brooks he hasn't been getting much PT.
Walker has the potential to play like him but needs the court time. Houston keeps getting mentioned in some of these bigger trades, maybe the Pacers can slide in there and grab Eason in a 3-4 team deal.

I really like the fit with Bridges. Likely giving up Benn and/or Nesmith; however it greatly increases our chances of getting back to the ECF and beyond in the near future. Also I'm probably looking too far into it, but after the Pacers played the Nets a few times this year Ty is always chatting with Bridges (same with Anunoby lol) so imo, either of those guys would be huge additions making it a W off season for us. Honestly the worst outcome in my mind for this offseason is keeping everyone and running it back bc I am not a fan of stagnation. But even that will still allow us to have a good/great season so I can't complain. Just seems like ever since Carlisle came in and we did the Tyrese trade, along with Siakam, this front office isn't shy to pull the trigger which bodes well for us. Bright future regardless! side note, really hope Jarace can just develop sooner rather than later and fill the gap as that lockdown defender, but imo that's wishful thinking until we see him get more minutes consistently.
I also like Robert Williams I agree on him if not us he’ll make a difference on another team. Also agree on Monk I think he’d fit right in with our style of play and thrive.
I love Mikal Bridges it gives us a good defender and a shot creator which would also help us a lot in close late games. Also love Steven Adam’s believe it or not he’s a great screen setter good rebounder and just a great role player that does what needs to be done.
I like the Steven Adams choice but we shouldn't trade Benedict math I believe he has a great upside

Nembhard really raised his stock this year especially in the postseason we could get a nice package for him or keep him we cant lose either way💯

Miles Bridges would be a massive pickup. However I have a better chance of Elvis showing up to my birthday party than the Pacers have in getting him.

The biggest question is what are the Pacers willing to spend? If they sign Siakum to a max contract, they are way over the salary cap, but they are also well below the luxury tax threshold. So it comes down to where they are willing to be within that range.
A lot of the names on your list probably aren’t gettable. Eg Mikal Bridges would be amazing 🔥, but he is on a very friendly contract with only a $23M cap, there’s no way the Nets give him up unless for a ransom. Same with Finney-Smith… they have to pay Ben Simmons and need good contracts to stay like Dorian’s. The sneaky play with the Nets would be to sign Trendon Watford as a defensive role player for not much money. But if the Pacers trust Jarace and Oscar, no need for Watford.
The two trade takes I love are Steve Adams and Keldon Johnson. Adams would be a terrific backup center and leadership presence. Keldon Johnson might be gettable and he’s a notably better version of Benn Mathurin. It’s the “3” position where we have good players, but not championship-caliber players. If we had to trade one of Mathurin, Nesmith or Nembhard for Keldon, I think you do it.
Some other options at the SF spot that could be sneaky good moves especially if they can’t or don’t want to hold onto Obi would be guys like Saddiq Bey, Okoro (he might get too pricey), Caleb Martin or Royce O’Neal.
Also love the takes on Robert Williams III. If we could finesse him away from Portland, we solve a big hole in having rebounding and someone who takes away the panic when Myles is in foul trouble or just isn’t playing well on a given night. Achíuwa would be another, esp if Knicks focus on retaining Hartenstein.
You hear Hayward’s name connected to the Pacers a lot. If the contract is right, he’s a good backup option to Siakum. They both okay the midrange game and Hayward is basically a poor man’s Siakum with a little better 3-point shot.
How about this for another sneaky good move?… Patrick Williams? Health has been the issue, but talent wise, he’d potentially be a beast as backup to Siakum. I just get the feeling that a team like the Pacers could keep him healthier and just be a better environment for him. He’s still very young at 22 and he’s a restricted free agent already.
Bridges? Might as well pick up that Primo kid who pulled his meat out on the Spurs therapist if we have no standard of conduct for our players. Jeez man. This is Indiana. We're better than that.

I highly doubt we can get him, but I think in an ideal world PJ Washington would be the best pickup for us. Athletic, long and lanky but strong, and can shoot
We REALLY need a wing/big man who can actually play defense, and is at least a decent shooter.

Mikal bridges would be awesome, thats who ive been wanting the Pacers to get for awhile. I don't think they have much chance to get him though. I would give mathurin and anybody else they have besides haliburton. I wouldn't put Siakam in that list because he ll be a free agent. They definitely need a defensive minded players. I thought Turner played great in the Playoffs but id still rather them get someone different. I like Mark Williams and Robert Williams for their shot blocking and ability to decently step out and play defense on smaller , quicker guys with room to grow. I love Paul George coming back, but he s almost certainly not coming back to Indy. They could compete for a championship with George if not injured all the time. I don't think the pacers have the cap room to afford some of these players if they resign Siakam and keep all the key players. The dream, trade would be getting Sabonis back and moving Turner. They d have to change they're style of play a little but Sabonis is a great passer and could give the Pacers a Nuggets style of offense.
I actually disagree with the thought of us not having mid range players. Pascal is a elite middy man. Nembhard is, Mcconnell is for sure and I think Mathurin is or can be. We have mid range bucket getters.
One of the Pacers' secret superpowers is that guys with "names" get overpaid by the competition, and we end up being the deeper team. Love OG, but let the Knicks overpay him.

Fucking dope list. With our cap situation and assets, not to mention guys leaving, could be a move where we sign and trade Stix, for Moody perhaps? I like letting Obi walk and signing Kelly Ourbe Jr too. and I second Tari Eason, and other teams with log jams and needs for Stix type player. Oscar and Jarace will get clock for sure; Pacer fans realize we are not a high spending team, but perhaps we will dip just under the 1st Apron at most? It's worth it! Teams like Minnesota are in a wild predicament, they can't move and they have to move to get control of their assets again. Sell high and SnT Stix and Nembhard (who will command $$$ when the time comes) and take back Jaden McDaniels and Leonard Miller (20y). Just some other ideas. Dig it man, great season!

No they need a coach that knows when to call timeouts to settle the team down. Both Haliburton and Siakam are capable of closing games but when the coach just lets the team go up and down the court without slowing the pace and setting something up it’s hard to get things done.

🎯 You are both right. The small three (Haliburton-Siakam-Turner) disappeared in the final 2:00 all spring. Guys like Nembhard & Neismith were taking the shot with clock running down. Ridiculous. The coach also disappeared in the EOG situations. Remember, this team was still playing to avoid the play-in bc of the above. The current roster is made up of nice young men who have a hard ceiling. Remember, Bloodsport had to be brought back bc they got bullied in their own locker room.

Whatever we do please do not fuck up our bench being so amazing. They helped us get so far this year.
Unfortunately we have a logjam of similarly aged young guys who are due paydays soon. We can't keep em all much longer even if we trade Myles once Pascal is signed. Obi is a FA and Drew and Benn will need new deals within a year or so. TJ is a FA next year too.
Unfortunately we're going to have to lose some depth soon regardless of if we trade for a 3rd star or one of the young guys becomes one next year.
Run it back with this squad. Mathurin back, everybody gelling, another year for the young guys. We can compete

…..Benn showed very little improvement in year two. If he don’t take a major leap in year 3 he’s definitely going to be in trade talks. We just made the ECF, waiting for guys to develop is not longer a game we’re playing.

People seem to forget that the Pacers have Oscar Tshiebwe coming soon. He just won Rookie of the year in the G league, where he averaged 17 points and 17 rebounds. Not to mention he is 6:8 and weighs 260. Guys go to the g-league for playing time. The Pacers did not want him riding the bench, they wanted him playing. We also need a second team point guard. When Haliburton went down everybody did fine until the last 3 minutes. Then they chocked. If we had someone like Byron Scott back in the day, it would be huge. So we have to get that second strong point guard. We need one more big scorer. I would hate to see Mathurin leave, but the Pacers could package him with maybe Myles Turner and a first round pick and get a very nice player, if they do their homework and get the right guy. Someone like Middleton from the Bucks, maybe not him but someone like that. No Kevin Durants or and anything stupid like that. Klay Thompson would be a huge pick-up. Even Draymond if they could make that happen. I would also be happier with Jarrett Allen in the middle then Turner. That is a deal Cleveland might just make, Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell for Myles Turner, Benedict Mathurin, and a 1st round pick
